We loved our stay here - the staff are all very friendly, attentive, and helpful in helping us find things to do on the island. The food has been amazing for all meals, and the kitchen has been happy to meet any additional requests we had. It is a beautiful hotel that feels very relaxed and peaceful. One of our favourite holidays!

The staff was welcoming and professional, especially Sanjay, and another guy in the morning that took very good care of us but unfortunately i can't remember his name but I'm sure he will recognised himself they were very caring during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was like cotton candy—very, very comfortable! The hotel offers nice complementary activities throughout the day, which is a great bonus. The food was delicious with plenty of options. The location is perfect, right by the beautiful beach and sea. I highly recommend this hotel for a great experience! Read less

Travelling as honeymooners, we couldn’t be happier with our choice of staying at Salt of Palmar. This has been one of the best hotel experiences we had. The location of the hotel is magnificent, with its pool right at the center of it and facing the beach. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunset at our arrival. In terms of service, this resorts has all the amenities one could wish for, and a range of options of packages (from bed and breakfast to all inclusive). Their restaurant and bar are really good with delicious food and drinks. We’d like to thank each and every member of their team for their warmness and great service. Sanjay, Mej, Vish, Rajiv, Chloe, Bishav, Vinesh, Shib and Chef Shiva, thank you for your work! Also, Sandriana and Ahkil for their support in the reception and physical activities! Read less

A-mazing - thank you to Med, Sanjay and Rewa and all of the fantastic Salt of Palmar staff and chefs, you made our breakfasts, dinners and overall stay and experience of Mauritius truly memorable. Fantastic food, spacious room, great amenities and gorgeous views, it’s a pity i can only give 5 rating as a maximum.

We chose SALT a year ago for our special birthday treat and were drawn by the promise of white sans, blue seas, but particularly the intimacy, ecological ethos and customer service that this boutique hotel offered. We have been here nearly a week now and it has gone above and beyond our expectations. Not only is the hotel beautifully designed, with every possible need met, the staff go above and beyond in their welcome, their care and their friendliness. From management to restaurant staff to the staff who maintain the rooms - all have a smile and an easy way of making us feel at home. Being an adult only hotel, SALT is peaceful and relaxed with every need met. From spare bamboo framed spectacles to sun cream to water stations and fresh herbs and citrus fruit they have thought of everything. Our bed is simply the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, with the softest Egyptian cotton sheets. Lovely. And a proper double - no chasm in the middle of two twins shoved together! And the food… oh my goodness. It’s all locally sourced, cooked to order and a veggie’s dream. There is meat and fish too, which looks delish but I’ve not tried that. The chefs are so creative and the kitchen is open so you can see how immaculate the place is. It’s absolutely the best food I’ve had in a hotel - so fresh, so delicious and so imaginative. All in all this is the best place we have ever stayed. I can’t think of a down side and we are already thinking of coming back. Thank you to all the staff - you are doing a great job. Read less
