Where is it
On a lagoon near the fishing village of Trou d’Eau Douce, opposite beautiful Ile aux Cerfs, with a free shuttle running to the island for swimming and sunbathing. It is also 15 minutes’ drive from Belle Mare, and an hour’s drive from the capital, Port Louis. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes (Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route).

Couple Seafront Rooms offer views of Trou d'Eau Douce lagoon and Île aux Cerfs Island, with 1 double bed, or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Please note: Mini bar is initially empty and can be filled from a selection of coffee, tea, snacks, and cold drinks from Laboutik.

Couple Deluxe Seafront Rooms are located on the ground floor with views of Trou d'Eau Douce lagoon and Île aux Cerfs Island, and are larger in size, with either 1 double bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Villas are approximately 100 sq m and are located on the ground floor with a private swimming pool and garden with hammock, bathrobes and slippers, and either 1 double bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

A special thank you to Gerald for his warm welcome and attentive service throughout our stay. Karen the guess experience helpfulness and friendliness made us feel right at home. Yuvan the barman greatly enhanced our experience with his cocktail, and Irfaad joyfully added a personal touch to our visits. Chef Roy prepared delicious meals that delighted our taste buds, and Reema’s care for our room.
Each staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special, and we are deeply grateful for their efforts. Thank you all for making our time at Tropical Attitude so wonderful. We look forward to returning!❤️

We have been fortunate to have travelled a lot and stayed in many places of all ratings around the world. It has to be said that the staff at this hotel are just exceptional. They are ALL conscientious, hard working, eager to please and extremely friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everybody could not do enough for us. We feel it unfair to name names because for us EVERY single member of staff whether it be housekeeping, gardeners, kitchen helpers, chefs, waiters etc they all play a big part in what makes this hotel the great place it is. The free shuttle to Ile Aux Cerfs is a real bonus and the beaches there are incredible. For a small hotel the food choices were good, catering for so many nationalities in such a small establishment must be a nightmare! There was a good choice at every meal time and the standard of the food is also very good - well done! The local spirits and cocktails are also very good. The entertainment was very enjoyable with a variety of performers. So many areas to sit back and relax from day beds overlooking the ocean to cabanas by the pool and best of all.....not a reserved sunbed in sight! Well done Tropical Attitude we would return in a heartbeat!
