We had a wonderful time, our room was comfortable and had great views of the Old City. Breakfast was DELICIOUS with THE BEST service from Samek :) Phenomenal staff all around— friendly and helpful from check-in to dining to maid service. We will be back

The rooms were nice, the staff was great and even with the war the hotel seemed to have visitors. The only thing I would recommend is getting a bottle of liquor at the store. The drinks at the bar was expensive but that’s how most nice hotels are.

The pillows are divine, but we were so impressed with Fadel, the floor Housekeeping Manager! So Kind, asked and listened for any requests, and went above and beyond. He was so well spoken and friendly! We absolutely loved this hotel for so many reasons! Location bar none. Dining was a foodie delight every meal. You will not be disappointed… Read more

If the concierge doesn't know who will know! Go your way and the reception is catastrophic. Read less

We stayed at the David Citadel hotel for 5 days. The experience was overall pleasant. We had a few issues with room service and housekeeping and we addressed it with the hotel and they were apologetic. All the workers were kind, polite and in a good mood. The restaurant manager was very attentive and greeted us very friendly every morning. We were with our three children and one of their highlights was the hot chocolate Samer Murad, a restaurant employee made them made every day and when he wasn't there, it was a catastrophe for my kids. They absolutely loved him. He was friendly and really went out of his way for us every day that he was there. It's tough to have a "pleasant" experience at breakfast with three small children, but his good humor and attentiveness really helped us have a nice and peaceful breakfast. The rooms are nice and fairly spacious and the beds are comfortable. My biggest gripe was the issue with room service taking hours to get our food and there was rarely turn down service. I would have given the hotel 3 stars, but for Samer improving our overall experience every morning. The person making the omelettes, I believe he was Russian was also very nice and friendly and in a good mood. Read less
