Beautiful hotel in a superb location just across the Mamilla open mall and the old city of Jerusalem. The hotel had with a lovely pool overlooking the ancient city. We actually booked through the hotel reservation which was very nice and efficient (Thanks to Ms. Yael!). I celebrated my birthday and had a lovely surprise waiting in the room which was really nice! Breakfast was amazing with a huge collection and service was efficient. We took also Friday dinner which was also rich and very diverse. One strange thing was that during breakfast and dinner in the main food hall it was easy to receive Gluten-Free bread, but when sitting at the lobby restaurant or ordering room-service we were told it was not available which i could not understand why. The pool was lovely and clean and overlooking the old city. The Gym was well equipped and in excellent shape. The room we received was on the 10th (top) floor which has a lovely view over the pool and the old city. It was spacious with all necessary amenities (lovely Bulgari soaps!). It had a seating area and 2 TV's one towards the bed and one towards the Sofa (clever!). There was a nice balcony with a table and seating for 2. The living area sofa looked a bit dated but was comfortable and everything was clean and spotless. The bed itself was VERY comfortable - not too soft as it should be. There was also a TV in the bathroom which did not work but a call to maintenance fixed it quickly. Check in and checkout were quick and easy for us and the indoor parking was complimentary which is a great bonus. All in all a great stay and would be happy to come back! Read less

Ilan is absolutely the best. He helped us so so much on our visit to Jerusalem. The hotel is beautiful. All the staff are fabulous. It is a haven in Jerusalem. But Ilan goes out of his way to help. Literally the best in the Middle East. Thank you for all your help

Once again the David Citadel lived up to all expectations from the comfort of the rooms, the graciousness and courteousness, to the food and the ambiance. A special shout out to Manuel Arbid who continues to be an outstanding director of guest relations. He takes care of each hotel guest as they are personal friends and for some as family.

Great hotel, really made us feel like special guests. Highlight was the breakfast and Said the best waiter in Jerusalem (maybe Israel!). Said made sure to get us anything we wanted and even memorized our drink preferences so he could have it ready for us before we got there. We felt like royalty! Thanks Said!
