We got upgraded into one of their more recently renovated rooms, on 9th floor, facing south, what a view ! It had an opening sofa, perfect for our 5 y/o. You cannot complain about the venue location, 1 side on the beach (a lift takes you down straight to beach and beach side promenade, the famous one in TLV), street side you are on Hayarkon and can walk to Ben Gurion St via a protected side walk. Perfect location. The reception desk is tiny, not many are manning it, but they tried their best when we checked in. The security is as well managing the parking service (25$ a day, worth every penny). The rooms have all a small balcony with 1 chair and a table, the room itself was around 30 sqm, very pleasant, we stayed 5 nights and felt at ease inside, enough storage for our 3 large luggage. On the -1 floor, right above the beach, you will find the large pool with an opening roof, a good size renovated gym, and a new spa. Half a floor down they have a lounge, no kids allowed (strange in Israel, and 1st time my kid isn't allowed in a lounge), good food and basic alcoolic drinks, with a long balcony right on the beach front, you can enjoy seeing the Tlv lifestyle. Only con, their lounge security is light, and when my wife ran into a very rude man, who cursed her for not letting her in, unfortunately there was no hotel staffer until long after, we nonetheless formally complained about their guest behaviour, as it almost ended up into a physical assault on my wife. Anyway, can't blame the hotel for others guest behaviour, but for not being of assistance when it happened. Cleanliness in the room was an issue, we had a hard time getting this dome properly, it was obvious they weren't hovering the floor, so after 2 calls irs only by going to reception that they sent someone to properly clean the floor from crumble The breakfast is pretty good, lacking fruits though, which is a bad surprise in thr land of fruits, milk and honey. Our bedroom had a nice Illy espresso machine and a fridge we could use for ourself. The staff is v.friendly, and this was our 5th stay so far, so I believe we ll come back, I just hope they up thei game on properly cleaning the rooms, this problem is dragging for years. Thank you Mr Jacome and Ms Geidman for making our stay memorable, I hope we get the same service for our next visit ! Read less

Breakfast is also good with omelette station, variety of hot and cold foods and bakery items. But, it’s an old hotel which is definitely showing it’s age. Even check in is right there as you walk in through front doors - their IT is a bit temperamental so check in/check out can take some time! I didn’t get welcomed as an IHG member either. Wasn’t either told location of breakfast - my colleague who arrived a day earlier mentioned it. Room was ok but furniture was old and tired. Wooden floor felt dirty. AC noisy and something rattled through minibar fridge. Bathroom is a shower head in a bathtub. Spacious bathroom but mouldy on side of bath. I’m sure this hotel saw better days about twenty years ago. I hear there is refurbishment going on but I didn’t see any. At checkout I was told I had taken something from mini bar - I hadn’t done so and fortunately they accepted that and no further issue. And if coming from uk, either bring your own three pin adapter or ask at reception. Read less

Although this hotel isn’t glitzy, it has a wonderful location beachside in Tel Aviv. Wonderful buffet breakfast and Sabbath dinner-and all is reasonably priced . Perfect for beach going people and it also has a wonderful pool. The front office staff is very accommodating and what the hotel lacks in grandeur, it makes up for in the kindness and hospitality of the front desk staff. I would especially like to commend Edita, a front desk manager, who was particularly kind, helpful and understanding when my wife became ill. Will return on our next visit to Israel. PS The room service pizza is outstanding!! Highly recommended! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Not a 5 star experience nearer to a 2 star, my advice don’t bother

How can this have a 5 star rating. The hotel is tired, not decorated for years or furniture changed. The lifts are scratched and dark. How can this have a 5 star rating. The hotel is tired, not decorated for years or furniture changed. The lifts are scratched and dark. The carpets in hallways not hoovered for months by the looks of it. On checking the room was not clean, the sink was filthy as was the shower. The floor was so dirty I walked across and my feet were black! The chairs in restaurant are all plastic leather look alike and peeling. Only fresh fruit for breakfast is chopped fruit salad or melon yet when you go to the markets lovely fruit! The bread is baked once and seems to be there for days once the bagels or whatever are gone that’s it. 4 days no fresh baked bread. Customers are walking into breakfast in their pajama and piling food high on plates then asking the staff for foil containers to take the food away! The pool area is small too many smokers leaving ash which doesn’t get cleaned regularly. The door to the beach was broken and the emergency door locked and on report to staff they said no worries they could open it from above. When we explained it was at the bottom of stairs if there was a fire we wouldn’t be able to get out they didn’t seem to understand that doors should not be locked, fire hazard. There was an old mattress left in the hall with a damaged chair near to our room for 3 days and plug sockets hanging from the wall. The staff are not particularly knowledgeable and gave no information on checkin other than a typed sheet. They insist on taking £200 from a card despite paying for room in full and we’re adamant this is the law in Tel Aviv, the assistant manager was rude and unhelpful. Overall disappointing worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Expensive and not a 5 star. Read less
