It was very bad experience No AC Swimming pool very hot Spa not working I used to come since 10years always nice But this is the time so bad And we request for special time for family time . And we have dinner in selection restaurant also the food something wrong. We get sick after food.

The hospitality and the breakfast brunch is the best I have ever experienced. From checking in till checkout everything was perfect. Checking in was swift like a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my room was ready even though I had arrived early hours before checkin time. The room was spotless the view splendid over the marina. The pillows and duvet are the fluffiest and super clean. I requested a non-smoking room and happy there was no sign of cigarette smoke. The coffee/tea and bottled water availability is a greatly appreciated. For breakfast there is a huge selection it’s more like a brunch. It is excellent and super tasty with many choices that more than caters to all. I tried the Asian and Middle Eastern hot breakfast it was delicious especially (fried egg Rice) and (mudamas foul). I would like to say a big thank you to all the team at the breakfast restaurant a big thank you for the outstanding excellent service they provide and their hard work and dedication. Really nothing is too much for them. Always checking with everyone if they need anything. Always going around with trays of freshly squeezed cold juices and bring freshly ground coffee to the tables. Tables are cleared and cleaned quickly. They really work restlessly making guests feel so welcomed thank you all for such a memorable happy holiday at Intercontinental Hotel. Special thank you to saung, amber, zin May, tusha, rinku. Also big thank you to Sandhya from Housekeeping she really went the extra mile and as she saw me struggle to close my suitcase so gave me a hand and helped me close it. Also a big thank you to Jason the swimming instructor at pool and all the pool staff who provide guests with ice boxes filled with water bottles and are always happy to help. Things that need improving is: The bridge ontop of swimming pool which provides much appreciated shade looks outdated from underneath and needs renovating. It would be great if afew shaded parasols covered areas in the pool could be added. And have a designated smoking place far away from others around the pool. Read less

The reception staff very supportive, view is excellent, room is tidy and clean, easy car parking, pool is very beautiful, GYM/SPA very nice, wonderful stay in general. Breakfast was very good, all types of food were available and food is tasty and delicious
