Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal

This has to be one of the best hotels we have visited.Great friendly staff always wanting to help.One of the things that set this hotel apart from others is the amazing club room not only are you able to get drinks from 12pm to 10pm you can also have full size meals if you chose not to use the fantastic restaurants in the hotel.There is a couple people I would like to mention Michael Prablu and Prakash were outstanding in the club room.Also Rafiq and Jako did a great job looking after us at the poolside.We cannot wait for next time we return. Fantastic holiday at this hotel. Amazing service from Joseph and his team at the Club Lounge. First class hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect from the Pool Team (Rafiq), Restaurants, the Club Rooms and the front house team at the hotel. Everyone was very helpful with booking a surprise birthday cake and they even organised balloons and roses at the restaurant Li Jiang ❤️ I would definitely recommend this 5 star hotel. Read less

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi was perfect. Firstly, the hotel was stunning and the facilities were excellent. All the food in the restaurants was lovely. The rooms were nicely decorated and very spacious, with all the amenities. The beds were sooo comfy! Most notably, we couldn’t fault the service at the. All of the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. In particular, the staff around the pool (didn’t catch their names) were very efficient and attentive. They looked after our welfare, remembered our beds and set them up in advance of our arrival! Also wanted to give a shoutout to Adhil at Mijana. We were well looked after by Adhil when we ate at the Mijana twice during our stay. Couldn’t fault his service - was extremely friendly and attentive. We were impressed that he remembered our drinks and food orders from our previous visit, which was a great personal touch! Both times we asked for a takeaway bag as we couldn’t finish our food, and he added in some extras which was a nice surprise. Would recommend this hotel to anyone! Read less

It's hard to really know where to start with the Ritz. This is my favorite hotel - not just in Abu Dhabi, but of all time. I can say this confidently based on having been to many five star hotels around the globe. For starters, the parking experience is a breeze, with valet or self-park options; and there's always plenty of parking spots in the massive underground garage and zero stress parking. The team at check-in is nothing but first rate. Ozgur runs a tight ship, and Mandeep never failed to make me feel right at home. Staff are consistently courteous and phenomenally effective, with the check-in experience including Arabic coffee and dates. Oh, and I must give credit to the gorgeous and talented piano player who adds some fantastic ambience to the already impressive atrium. I've had the pleasure of staying in many a room, from standard king to suites to villas. Accomodations have always been great, aside from one small maintenance issue. The view looking into the courtyard at night is phenomenal, and the wildlife singing in the morning makes it all the more pleasurable. The villas are plenty spacious, and the private nearby parking is fantastic, especially in the hot summers. The suites are fantastic and offer some stunning views of the courtyard and water. A couple things to note: the villas don't have computer desks, and in the summer it does mean a longer walk to the main building. The gym was always good, and it only got better with time. It's open 24/7 and is rarely crowded, offering plenty of options from machines to free weights. It even has a killer functional fitness section with a sled and tire, among other things. This is definitely a huge draw for me here. My only one complaint might be that the sauna hours could be a bit more generous, as I'd often miss the sauna later at night. The lounge is fantastic, and I've spent more time there than I care to admit there. Food is on rotation and is consistent yet different, with beef, chicken, and seafood options each night. Portion sizes are fantastic as well. Badri does an impressive job of providing a wide array of delicious food every night, including the best Moroccan I've ever had - despite having stayed in Morocco for some time. Jovana, Joseph, Ardi, Prakash, and Michael always do an amazing job of making patrons feel welcome, and I'm amazed at their ability to memorize the many details of patrons, despite the massive volume of people coming through here. Iqbal and Prabhu are especially phenomenal, delivering the finest in drinks and service that one could ever ask for. Truly a great bunch. There are plenty of other restaurants, which are all first rate, with a different special every night encompassing a broad array of food. The brunch here is sheer madness, with a ton of variety and volume of fantastic food, including fresh fish cut on the spot. There are also restaurants outside of the hotel in the immediate vicinity. Booze? They even have a separate building a stone's throw away where that can be purchased, for very reasonable prices to boot. One impressive aspect of this hotel is the sheer greenery and expansive space. This is aided further by the adjacency to the water and the stunning Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque. Every aspect of this hotel experience is pure relaxation, and especially if you have kids, as they have a building just for them. Overall? What can I say - this is THE best hotel I've ever stayed at, period. I've stayed at dozens of five stars, but the ambiance and people make this absolutely unbeatable in my eyes. I stayed here with my partner for a short getaway. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Ira and Shubham. They were very friendly and quick during check-in process. We were told that our room was upgraded and can't thank them enough. In the evening, we went to Sorso to have pre-drinks and met by Trysten, the bartender who makes great cocktails and also very friendly. Then, we had dinner at Li Jiang and we had super tasty foods and good wines. Prajkta was so kind and helpful during dinner. The next day, we went to breakfast at Giornette and Indah was friendly and polite. The hotel is massive and has a perfect location which is right in front of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Thank you all!
