First time in Dubai. What a hotel!! Superbly presented and stunning. The staff were excellent and the hotel offers a lot of restaurants between both towers along with leisure facilities & even a bus drop off, pick up service to the local beach, which is a 10 min drive and is stunning. We had a short stay at the grosvenor and although we very much enjoyed the stay, my one small issue was the price of a beer!!! Now I appreciate it’s a 5*, But to charge £14 for a pint of beer, and £15 for a bottle of beer is just beyond it. Although maybe part of the reason there wasn’t much life about the hotel in the evening, which was a shame as it was a beautiful lounge with a large variety of areas for entertaining. Not being a killjoy, as we loved the hotel and the food was excellent. Looking forward to going back to Dubai soon. Read less

It's hard to write this review because there are some exceptional staff members at GH, and I consistently receive top-notch service from places like in-room dining, Buddha Bar, and Siddhartha. Individuals like Adnan at Siddhartha and Peter at Buddha Bar truly make this hotel and residence a special place. However, this review needs to address specific issues and interactions that have left me feeling unappreciated. As a long-term resident with a lease here, and with my family and close friends having been patrons for decades, I initially planned to remain here for many more years. However, recent events have led me to reconsider. Over the past few weeks, there have been random drilling sessions above my apartment without any prior notice or warning. Despite reaching out via emails and messages, the top management has been unresponsive. Additionally, Sam, the duty manager, contacted me in a manner that I found rude, attempting to justify the disruptive drilling that interfered with my sleep schedule. I frequently visit the hotel's restaurants, and while I find the ground staff to be highly service-oriented, I have observed that the management often displays arrogance. This is particularly evident with Sam, who recently told me, "I have 140 contractors; drilling needs to happen at some point." Shortly after the call, drilling started again. Furthermore, I experienced poor service at 7 Tales, where the staff were not welcoming. Read less
