The hotel

Where is it

Situated in the Jumeirah area conveniently located for access to Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, the Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina. Madinat Jumeirah is adjacent to the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Wild Wadi Waterpark™ and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and is 10 minutes by car to the nearest shopping mall with complimentary shuttle bus service available. At the heart of the resort is the Souk Madinat Jumeirah – a traditional Arabic retail and dining experience. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 35 minutes.

Hotel information

387 rooms and 43 suites. All with open plan bathrooms, HD LCD TV, DVD player, complimentary WiFi access, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, safe and hairdryer. All rooms have 1 king-size bed or twin beds (subject to availability) plus an existing sofa bed (120cm x 180cm), sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child (under 12 years). Resort Deluxe rooms are open plan with lovely resort views.

Half Board option: includes buffet breakfast at your property, plus a choice of lunch or dinner which is available on a dine-around basis at a selection of over 40 restaurants within the Jumeirah resorts: Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Transport is not included. 

Please note: some restaurants require a supplement fee.

Ocean Deluxe rooms are spacious with beautiful ocean views.

Resort Superior rooms have extended terraces with views over the resorts gardens and swimming pools.

Pool Terrace rooms enjoy direct access to the resorts adult pool.

Restaurant choice is good - we loved Rockfish, but experience at Shimmers on the beach was a disaster. Service, cleanliness and ambience excellent. Beach gets very busy but the adult only pool is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The pool staff at the adult pool could not do enough - what wonderful gentlemen. The staff at the ‘Sugarmash’ restaurant were top class. My wife has food allergies - one waiter in particular even phoned in on his day off to make sure Sue’s food allergies were taken care of! Come on - that’s properly good. We didn’t upgrade our room as this is often a total waste on money in some hotels - we ended up with a better view than our previous sea view upgraded room. Staff at the beach club a bit up themselves and rude but let them carry on… Dined out a few times - Alici on Bluewater Island is top notch. Sat at the airport going home after 5 very relaxing days. I think this is the place for us in Dubai going forwards, although we haven’t been to the other O&O Residence yet. Read less

Amazing service as always. Mamun at the pool has been looking after us for 5 years and he is so friendly, helpful and kind. All service throughout the hotel is second to none. We are back in January! Many thanks
