Amazing hotel/resort. All staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful and great at their respective roles. When staff weren’t available the ebutler service was quick. Highly recommend! Really the only downside is the price of food and drinks but this is probably typical of Dubai.

We have been made to feel so welcome by all staff. The rooms are so comfortable and have everything you require for a comfortable stay. I have to mention Ash our butler who always greets you with a smile and the best sundowners. The choice of pools is great, all unique in their own way and the beach, no shortage of sunbeds and all very comfortable. We have not left yet and are already planning a return as soon as possible. The only years missed were due to the pandemic. Many thanks to all who looked after us with a special mention to : Lijans Duty Manager our butlers Ronit, Faith and a particular mention to Sharif who managed very busy happy hours so well. In Arboretum Mary, Ryan and their team and last but not least Salim in porter services. Even though the resort is 20 years old you would never know it every thing still looks brand new.We will be back soon . Read less

We had a suite in Villa 18 the concierge team were exceptional. I’d like to mention Nimbal and Faith. They truly made me feel extremely welcome and looked after my every need. This place is amazing, however, there is just one small issue. Dar al Masyaf I hope you read this and please take this as constructive criticism. It is not right for people to reserve a sunbeds at 7 am around the pool then disappear for a few hours go to breakfast and return back to the beds at 11 am especially when they are reserving 10 beds. Why can’t you just have a simple rule? No reserving of sunbeds before 10 am unless you are sitting on them otherwise belongings will be removed pre-10 am, Paying £700 per night you do not expect that kind of situation? you have the pool staff that look after the pool so why not introduce a simple rule? Also there should be more adult friendly areas the adult pool that serves the villas is absolutely tiny. It is literally 3 m wide where you can swim and that was serving well over 200 people. Otherwise a fantastic stay. Read less
