We spent 5 nights at le Royal Meredien. After we arrived we were able to upgrade to a Club Access Room (thanks to Sheetal and Nick from reception), so we had a beautiful room and a great bathroom. The slightly larger room was very practical for the extra bed for our son. The bed is super comfortable, the cleaning is exemplary (twice a day) and the care products are of very good quality! The view from the balcony is wonderful day and night 😍 The complex is very spacious, you can't have explored everything in five days... There are enough loungers and umbrellas throughout the area, even if it was more difficult on the weekend as it was noticeably fuller. The pools are great and have large non-swimmer areas for children. This was great for our son to practice swimming. There are actually a lot of families in the hotel. We mostly ate breakfast in the Club Lounge. The selection here is completely sufficient and very tasty. In the large restaurant we found it very busy and a little less relaxed for breakfast. For dinner we tried the buffet restaurant, Zengo, Maya and Al Khaima. Everywhere the food was very tasty and of good quality. It's great that you can use all restaurants with half board, a la carte is still a bit more relaxed than eating exclusively from the buffet. In all restaurants the staff tried to offer an alternative for our picky son. At Zengo he even got penne with parmesan from the buffet restaurant. This is a great service, thank you again!! We will definitely come back again!!😄 Read less

Stayed at Le Royal Meriden hotel 2 times during 2023 and I am impressed with this hotel. All my comments will be only positive about this hotel. Lobby and rooms: very stylish and new renovated. We stayed both times in separate tower and as per my view rooms there are better, than in main building, as rooms looks like a suite with separate leaving room and bedroom. City view rooms are also have fantastic view, especially in the evening. Daily complimentary fruits, chocolates, water. Main restaurant: great choice of food, always fresh and delicious. We had HB and you can choose between lunch or dinner. Also you can go for dinner to sister hotel Grosvenor House. Buffet dinner there is even more gourmet and atmosphere there is more elegant, may by because it is not beach hotel. Anyway recommend you to test it for dinner also. Shuttle service will take you there and back. Very nice atmosphere in all ala carte restaurants, especially in Mexican one. Beach: huge area with plenty of sunbeds, here you do not need to reserve sunbed in early morning, as you always will find free places. You will have your own ice box, where you can keep your own drinks/fruits. May be one inconvenient moment there is that sunbeds are far away from the sea ( beach line) and you have to walk a lot, but here nothing to do with hotel, as this is municipal beach. Location: Location is fantastic, it is on JBR and on The Walk avenue. Also Dubai Marina is in 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. As a conclusion I can tell that this hotel at this moment for me is the best beach hotel in price-quality range. Of course there are more luxury hotels on Madinat, but these hotels are in different price category. Highly recommended! Read less
