The hotel

An oasis of stylish energy and tranquility, One&Only The Palm is a luxurious addition to Palm Island's impressive portfolio. Blending Moorish and Andalusian architecture with contemporary, chic interiors, guest rooms are divided between the manor house and beachfront mansions, boasting every home comfort you can think of, including luxury marble bathrooms and a private balcony or garden patio. Choose to stay steps from the sea or surrounded by lush, green gardens. As well as lazing on your own private stretch of beach in oversized day beds, you can splash about to your heart’s content in the 850 sq m swimming pool or indulge in water sports galore at its sister hotel One&Only Royal Mirage. There are also several world-class golf courses a short drive away as well as Atlantis Aquaventure, Dubai’s most popular water park. For sheer relaxation, head to the Guerlain Spa, a tranquil retreat set amidst ponds, fountains and open courtyards. The health conscious will appreciate a state-of-the-art fitness centre, tennis court as well as an adult-only pool. To ensure that your family enjoys its stay at One&Only The Palm there is a kid’s programme that is designed to help keep your children entertained, allowing you to make the most of the resort’s many wonderful facilities. Dining is another huge treat with three superb restaurants to choose from, all under the expert guidance of three Michelin star chef Yannick Alléno. ZEST is the main restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows and a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the pool and gardens whilst STAY by Yannick Alléno showcases traditional cooking methods reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Feast on tapas and Mediterranean-style dishes at 101 Dining Lounge and Bar, a hip and happening dining lounge with sweeping views of the Dubai’s skyline and a DJ playing lounge music most evenings.

Where is it

Overlooking its own private beach on the peninsula of Palm Island, amidst lush manicured gardens, fountains and pools. Eight world-class PGA 18-hole golf courses are minutes away. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 45 minutes.

All with air-conditioning, balcony or outdoor terrace, 46” plasma TV with pay-per-view films, DVD/CD player, telephone, complimentary basic WiFi access, safe, hairdryer, iron and board (upon request). Within the Manor House: Palm Manor House Premier Room features 65–80 sq m with private balcony or garden patio, 1 king-size bed or twin-size beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Half Board includes:starter, main, dessert per person at ZEST and 101 Dining Lounge. 25% discount on the food bill on evening dinner at OORM restaurants including Olives, Tagine, Beach Bar & Grill, The Rotisserie, Eauzone, Drift, Celebrities and Tresind restaurants.

Please note: from 8th May 2024 to 7th January 2025 the hotel is extending the evening dine around to include the Two Michelin Star Restaurant - STAY by Yannick Alleno with applicable credits per guest. Palm Beach Executive Suite features 130 sq m with integrated lounge/dining area, private balcony or beachfront garden patio and grand master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Palm Beach Executive Suite with Pool, with private 20 sq m swimming pool, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Palm Manor House Grand Suite features 250 sq m with open-plan lounge/dining area, large outdoor terrace, round-the-clock service and separate bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Palm Beach Villas feature 325 sq m, open-plan living space with bar and dining area connected to private service kitchenette, 2 master bedrooms with king-size beds, en-suite dressing rooms and bathrooms, private swimming pool and shaded outdoor seating/dining area, sleeping maximum 4-6 adults and 2 children (up 11.99 years old).

Please note: Palm Beach Junior Suite and Palm Beach Executive Suite with pools are not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at The One & Only and loved every minute! The hotel is beautiful, the food superb and the biggest USP this hotel has is their fabulous team of people who work there. The staff are attentive, helpful, always use your Name and cannot do enough to ensure your stay is enjoyable. We loved Safina, the new pool area with views over a fabulous skyline, thank you to Junaid and the Manager (apologise I didn’t take her name) who were so helpful. We ate in 101, again, fabulous service, lovely food and great views, we had drinks outside and made the most of the Dubai skyline lit up in the evenings. Thank you to Pritesh and to Christo. We had breakfast and some evening meals in Zest, great food, especially the Shakshuka for breakfast (I took away the recipe), all of the team here were exceptional- I do however want to mention Faye who spent time with us every day. Elena our host made contact daily to ensure we had everything we needed and to book restaurants on our behalf, even on her day off. This is our 9th visit to Dubai, in an ever expanding city where the competition is at the highest, the Only & Only has to be up there as one of the best. Read less

We are fortunate enough to travel extensively, and stay in some very nice places. The One & Only The Palm is up there with the best places we have ever stayed. The location was at the end of the Palm, so the views of the skyline were amazing, but without the hustle and bustle of the main roads right outside. The low level Mediterranean architecture, set in amazing grounds with comparatively few rooms (for Dubai) give the hotel a very upmarket boutique hotel vibe. This is the feel throughout the property. It has a personal feel to it that is long gone in many a 5* properties nowadays. I don’t know how the staff seem to remember guest names and details, but it makes a change. From the moment one checks in, the experience is top draw. The hotel itself is tasteful in every respect. Contemporary design with Arabic influences. The place is spotless. Rooms are well appointed and super clean. We ate in Zest for Breakfast and dinner. The staff were attentive, and the food was as you would expect, outstanding. The Gym was well equipped, and the staff again were highly trained and knowledgeable. We had a couple of PT sessions, and after exercising stretch classes. A selection of pre and post workout snacks and lovely relaxing areas. We spent our relax time at the new pool area. It’s like an upmarket Miami Beach club minus any extrovert and loud individuals. Again, the hosts are very attentive, but not intrusive. That perfect level of service that is so difficult to find. On arrival, they carefully prepare your sun loungers and provide a cool box with iced water, along with other helpful items like sun cream, fan and menus. All nice touches. The concierge staff were really professional, and very hospitable. Our villa host Farzana could not have been more helpful. Anytime we needed anything, it was only a call away. I do not usually write reviews, but felt obliged to as this is a special place. The attention to detail definitely needs to be recognised. We will definitely be back. Read less
