Where is it

Located on the East Crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah, 700 metres from Atlantis Aquaventure waterpark, and a 20-minute drive from Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 45 minutes.

Half Board option: includes breakfast and guests are entitled to choose either lunch or dinner on a daily basis when staying on Half Board. Dine-around concept is available in 6 selected outlets mentioned below. On 31 Dec Half Board will be available for lunch only.

Whilst staying at the Sofitel, the family and I dined at Zoya, the Indian food was good but the service was really warm and friendly, big thanks to Akshay, Ruby but especially Akshay. Many thanks to all at the restaurant for making us feel welcome.

Nice place for family, different sizes of swimming pools, more than seven restaurants, kids clubs and good team at house keeping like Nomer and his team . The front office staff are welcoming, and at the spa and other places in the resort. Try the suites.

This is a lovely clean hotel with excellent well mannered staff,who were always courteous and helpful. Our rooms were very well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. We dined at the Indian restaurant,which was very good, and twice at the Porterhouse steak restaurant which was excellent. We also had breakfast there a couple of times which was much more pleasant and relaxing compared to the very noisy buffet restaurant Manava, which we felt was like a canteen.On our 1st visit there for breakfast, we had to join a large queue to get a table. There were no plates or bowls to eat from. The restaurant was jammed packed. So we knew to dine early in the morning to avoid the noise,queues etc.. Dined once in the evening at Manava, but the food was cold, the restaurant was noisy , lighting was cold and bright, and we felt again it was more like a canteen. Porterhouse is so much better , with great service and excellent food. I’d definitely recommend. The food served at the pools is also very good. There are many pools , 3 of which are designated kids pools and 2 other mixed pools. With so many pools we would have appreciated an adult only pool as the main pool and waterfall pool were quite crowded,and noisy. Also you were not allowed inflatables unless it was a kids inflatable. We were used to floating on our LILO’s in other hotels we’ve stayed in Dubai as that kept you nice and cool in the soaring heat. We only found out for the last 2 days that if you hired a cabana with private pool, you could use the LILO as long as you stayed in the very small pool area attached to the Cabana. The waterfall pool would be ideal as an adults only pool as it’s away to the side of the resort in a quiet location. We did hire the cabanas with private pool for our last 2 days just so we could enjoy the heat whilst floating in the water. Read less
