The hotel

Where is it

The hotel's excellent Jumeirah Beach location means that plenty of water sports are on offer including kayaking and water-skiing. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 30 minutes.

All rooms have floor to ceiling windows offering views of the Arabian Gulf and the majestic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, air-conditioning, interactive HD LCD TV, WiFi access, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, mini-bar*, bathroom amenities, iron and ironing board, separate walk-in shower and bath, and hairdryer. Ocean Deluxe Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Half Board option: includes buffet breakfast at your property, plus a choice of lunch or dinner which is available on a dine-around basis at a selection of over 40 restaurants within the Jumeirah resorts: Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Transport is not included.

Ocean Deluxe Balcony Rooms are the same as Ocean Deluxe Rooms, but with the addition of a balcony, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Ocean Family Deluxe Rooms have 1 king-size bed, plus two fold out beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Ocean Club Rooms have 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

One-Bedroom Ocean Suites include club benefits, and feature a separate bedroom with 1 king-size bed and living room with sea views, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Two-Bedroom Deluxe Suites include club benefits, and feature a separate living room, and 2 bedrooms with 1 king-size bed and 2 twin beds. This suite can sleep 5 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Family Garden Suites include club benefits, and are located on the ground floor with direct access to the outdoor pool, featuring 1 king-size bed and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

It was my approximately 15-20th visit here , but unfortunately hotel doesn’t want to recognize very loyal customers, tried to give you the worst room they have and only after arguing you can get something normal. Today my family spent more than one hour at the reception during check-in . They could not find my deposit dated 2 weeks ago . Then they could not find my Jumeirah one number , then they couldn’t see the level of Jumeirah one card . But the most unpleasant impression I got from duty manager Fajar , sorry if mistakes with the name. I remember this rude manager from our meeting in November last year , when he gave us bed smell room close to construction area . This is a 5 star hotel with luxurious facilities but very poor service staff. Check in experience was horrendous, someone in my group only got her room at 6.30pm despite the whole group being there at lunch time. Rooms were not ready at their check in time,excuses like we are inspecting or cleaning your rooms were just thrown around. Check out was fine until you get home and realised that they have gone ahead and charge you the deposit without refunding you. Our rooms were reserved and paid by the company. Almost one week after check out, there is still no sign of the refund. Worse was the staff just randomly decides how much to hold for deposit, my group have been charged from AED 500 to AED 2000, all not refunded. Customer facing staff were all just there to look good. I found the housekeeping and technical staff more friendly. Restaurant service is poor, we had a lot of meals at Nuska and Verde. Verde staff seems to be more interested in looking good than serving food. We had a lot of leftovers because they just left the food and drinks out of sight while a number of us left the restaurant hungry. Read less

Everything was good, especially Sulthan was very friendly and helpful in the beach area. Room very nice, hotel very nice, staff nice.
