We’re currently living in the Hotel and decided to share some thoughts and experiences we’ve encountered so far. First of all, the hotel is gorgeous. Rooms are spacious, everything looks brand new. There is lots of free water for guests in rooms and on beaches and free transfer is organized to malls in Dubai. The staff is polite and helpful, so far we’ve had a couple of issues with non-working smelly AC, which were resolved relatively quickly which is great. The beach is what we didn’t like the most. It’s overgrown with seaweed, tiny and doesn’t feel like it belongs to a 5-star hotel. It is definitely needs some renovation, although it’s is not the first time we’ve encountered poor water conditions in the UAE. Also, for everyone going, I have to mention that certain dinner packages do not include drinks during dining. I completely understand, that some beverages should be paid for, but not providing even water for guests during dining is a very poor solution. Summing up, the hotel is definitely great and comfortable, although it has some controversial aspects to it. I would recommend it for anyone visiting Dubai, but wish some things were more convenient for guests. Read less

Fantastic hotel, very grand on entrance! We upgraded our room to face the Dubai marina and were not disappointed. We had a balcony the size of a tennis court. The room itself was amazing the bathroom was the biggest I’ve ever had even I compared to other Dubai hotels. The food is brilliant in every restaurant. My only negative would be its very quiet (if you can call that a negative) not much going on through the day. Maybe a change of pace in some part would be good. Would definitely come back though. I have to say my first holiday in Dubai was excellent and made doubly so by the warmth and attentiveness of the staff throughout the day, a great team, special thanks goes to Arjun who serviced our room to an extremely high level and even took the time to do some ‘towel art’ which was a very nice touch. Altogether a brilliant holiday. Thanks all.

I loved the rooms the staff were all friendly and especially the funny chef in messeri restaurant and the waiter saul if i remember right. Entertainment were everywhere in the hotel not like other hotels during summer, we loved the pianist music and the dj in the bar. Last but by far the guy who made our holiday especial was Klaus the Illusionist as he say he was everywhere in all the restaurants that we go even in the bar, his illusions were unbelievable especially the tictak , the mind reading and the energy one. Over all we enjoyed our holiday and our palm view and we must come back soon Read less
