Overall a perfectly fine hotel. The cleanliness was second to none. The rooms were lovely and had everything you could need - two double beds, coffee machine, lots of complimentary bottled water which was restocked every day. The pool was nice and its always nice to have a swim up bar. However, there were a few minor things that you just don’t expect in a five star hotel: - There was a lack of sunbeds and even during the summer season where the hotel is quieter it was a struggle to find one. In the winter months i suspect this would be a major problem. - The prices of soft drinks were incredibly high at around £7 for a can of pepsi. The pool bar was serving cans or soft drinks which were unrefrigerated and unsurprisingly boiling hot after being sat out in the sun. When you’re paying obscene amounts for drinks you at least expect them to be cold. - We asked for a bottle opener to be send to the room as ours was taken by the cleaning staff who serviced the room that day. We waited an hour for this to be brought to us and even then the staff turned up with bottles of water, not a bottle opener. Again when you’re paying high prices for room service drinks, you don’t expect to wait over an hour to be able to open them. Again, these are all minor things but definitely worth the hotel noting to improve upon. Probably wouldn’t stay here again as there is a lot of competition that seems to have a lot more to offer. I cannot commend the level of service and detail care that this hotel puts into looking after its customers. We’ve stayed here 3 times now and it’s because of the personal touch and hospitality that this hotel provides. A special thanks and appreciation to Anil, who has made the stays here that so much nicer. Thank you (Raj & Munney)

Dear Marriott Group, Head of Training & Higher Management, Today, my family and I arrived to enjoy the Eid holiday, and upon arrival, we experienced one of the most genuine and beautiful moments in all of our worldwide hotel experiences. Mr. Anil from the Front Office noticed that we were waiting for my brother to approach the reception for our booking. My father was visibly affected by the heat, and we took seats to wait. Anil approached us and kindly offered us cold drinks, and he diligently followed up on our booking to ensure everything was going smoothly. He even arranged for cold coffee for my father and mother. Additionally, Priyanka from the Lobby Lounge assisted us with a delightful smile that enhanced our entire experience from the outset to an exceptional level. I am writing to express one simple reason: individuals like Anil deserve recognition for their exemplary behavior and keen awareness in ensuring our happiness. I am truly grateful that Marriott Group has trained professionals like Anil and Priyanka to deliver such outstanding customer service. Well done, Anil, and well done to Marriott Group for employing individuals of this caliber. Best regards, Karim Senior Executive in Luxury Brands Development Read less
