Modern design, very fresh clean and new. Breakfast was awesome. Gym is also well equipped.
The swimming is located behind the road so we didn't use. It is prohibited to smoke in hotel which is a great plus as we stayed with my daughter. 15 min by foot to JBR beach which is acceptable.

Wish the pool was higher where you get more light but I was always using the beach and there is soo much in the area

This would definitely be a 4* hotel anywhere else. It is only a 5 minute walk from the stunning marina area, which is the largest marina I've seen. It takes about an hour to wakk its full length.

Customer service at the hotel is exceptional in every area. It is clean and well resourced, rooms are really nice and cleaned daily. There is a safe, fridge, and tea/coffee facilities that are refreshed daily.
The hotel offers nice touches like a free popcorn stand and free ice lollies by the pool.
The pool is a good size with comfy beds and towels provided. The hotel does back on to a busy main road, but the noise isn't too distracting.
Breakfast at the hotel is good with a buffet or menu to order from.
There is a full sized, well equipped gym, a play area, and a computer area. The hotel has good strength and free WiFi.
Of note, you can order alcohol by the pool or in the dining area, but there is no alcohol served anywhere along the marina. Restaurants do not have alcohol licenses, and shops do not sell it. We were told that some shops have a license, but we did not find any. It's a good idea to buy some at Dubai airport and put it in your fridge!
There are some lovely trips on offer.. download the 'get your guides app which is so easy to use and prices are good. Yacht trips along the marina by day and night are absolutely lovely.
The miracle gardens of Dubai are also worth a visit.
Go to the Atalantis Palm hotel and catch the monorail for about £7.. it gives you some great views.
Tip* download the 'careem' app.. bit like the Uber app. Prices are much cheaper, and getting them on the street can be much more expensive.

Beds are comfortable enough, only 2 pillows had to ask for extras.
Bathroom has no extras or facecloths. You could ask for extras if needed.

Very disappointed for such a ‘green/healthy’ hotel that they even allowed smoking on the premises.
There was a dedicated smoking area by the pool and then even though you weren’t supposed to, people would bring the ashtrays over to the pool chairs and smoke you out. We could not enjoy the pool at all because of this. Should have been in a completely different area away from the pool and where families and non smokers gather for rest by the pool.
