It’s right across the street from the convention center, has reasonably priced on site parking, the facilities are beautiful and very clean! The room was very spacious!! We brought our infant son and had more than enough room for the pack n play and the stroller to be set up in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We really enjoyed the indoor heated pool! The only downfall is that there is not much in walking distance from the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again! Read less

Had a good stay at the hotel and loved the modern feel. The set up of the room was a bit different than most hotels (2 queens) but it felt very spacious. The best part is that they have the same pillows as the Marriott! Best pillows ever! Negatives: the hotel was several blocks from the shopping area and Harpoon Brewery, and parking was extra.

The restaurant was excellent although servers were visibly overworked. Cocktails and food were great! The room was clean, updated, and comfortable. The views were nice as well (we faced the bay). This hotel is within walking distance to BCC (literally one block away). It is family friendly as well. My toddler and husband came to enjoy the remainder of the weekend with me. We had a blast and would like to visit again. Improvements: 1) parking machine was broken and should've been free because we kept having to get buzzed in. 2) they should notify people of convention taxes and all other fees prior to billing (which appeared after check out). Back to school for A Loft. Any hotel is only as good as the staff that keep it humming. And, one hoped, attend to guest’s requests. That was not to be on this occasion. This reviewer made three requests at the front desk in the morning and none were addressed when returning to the room in the evening: the sink would not keep water even with the plug activated, the shower door badly leaked water all over the floor and a request for an extra bath mat (even before realizing the shower leaked). In addition, when asking for where I could print a document, the front desk staff pointed and told me it was around the corner. Two problems ensued. First, the printer was inoperable with a flashing red light. I had to walk back to the front desk and raise the issue. Second, there was more than a single printer in the pull-down menu options. Not being psychic required another walk back to the front desk. I get this is not a 5 star hotel and probably can’t be considered a 4 star one. But I’d expect service to be a little more committed and not require a guest to put in so much work. Otherwise, the hotel was pleasant. Stylish with a Millennial leaning to its ground floor lobby character (guitars and ping pong paddles available to be picked up and played). Read less
