The hotel

Bang on trend, this hotel’s industrial-meets-chic styling is completely in keeping with its neighbourhood, the fast-flourishing Seaport district. Its spot in this trendy borough’s pretty enviable too, just across the road from its coolest hangout space, Lawn on D, which hosts food trucks, live events, and free yard games and WiFi. Inside the hotel there's plenty to offer too, a suitably contemporary indoor pool space,  live entertainment at D's Keys Dueling Piano Bar or W XYZ Bar, and 24-hour dining and fitness - ideal whatever time you return from exploring Boston’s most famous attractions. From the Freedom Trail to the shopping around Faneuil Hall, the city’s biggest draws are all within a couple of miles.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful; no tipping for storing bags while at the convention center. The room was clean and functional. There was Complimentary bottled water and a Fridge in the room. Water pressure was somewhat lacking.

Great stay at Aloft as a solo parent with a 2 year old. Hotel felt safe, local area was nice and great early morning coffee shops to help with the jet leg. Close to the city centre, walked everywhere but hotel can call a taxi if needed. Coffee and other items are available at the reception. Staff was nice some more then others. Close to the city centre, walked everywhere but hotel can call a taxi if needed. Coffee and other items are available at the reception. Staff was nice some more then others. Room was lovely and spacious. Car parking is pricey, it’s better to pay for the parking yourself and not through the hotel. Only thing to fault really was the aircon which was so loud in at night it was waking us up. Read less

Great location for catching cruise out of Boston harbor, could easily walk if you had manageable luggage. We were given a spacious room on 12th floor with a great view of the harbor. Lobby is warm and welcoming, staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were convenient as we'd been traveling for a week before transitioning to cruise… Read more

The rooms are dated and the decor is pretty kitschy. The hallways and common spaces are quite dirty, and badly in need of attending too. Most annoying is that the end room climate control is incredibly loud. And, when it is used for heat, the room, temperature varies wildly, depending on whether or not the unit is running. I complained about this… Read more

Most annoying is that the end room climate control is incredibly loud. And, when it is used for heat, the room, temperature varies wildly, depending on whether or not the unit is running. I complained about this to the staff and they said “ all the rooms are like that”. I wish they had told me that before they switched my room to try to make the problem better. Also, the front desk staff are quite rude. Avoid. Read less

The rooms were sleek and comfortable, and the beds were like clouds – a dream to crash on after a day of sightseeing. But what really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff; they went out of their way to make sure my stay was top-notch. Plus, it was pet-friendly, so my furry friend could join the adventure. It's not your typical stuffy hotel, but that's what makes it awesome. Aloft Boston Seaport District gets a big thumbs up from me! Read less
