I haven’t stayed here in many years, and decided to for a girls weekend. Rate was very reasonable at $125 with taxes and all. Parking is exorbitant at $64, but if you want the convenience you pay. It’s in a great area, attached to the malls, restaurants, coffee shops etc. Right outside the hotel is Boyleston and Newberry and many iconic and great places. Restaurants and bars galore!!! Room was clean, but small and lackluster. Hotel itself is rather large, and also a bit lackluster. The sport bar Champions was busy because of the college basketball games and Celtics plying. Very lively and fun. My stay was fine, just nothing about it was overly impressive that will bring me back immediately, other than if they are offering a super low rate. I prefer the Westin Copley instead. For a similar rate, I felt like it was a step up in luxury. They did have a computer malfunction that affected the whole check in process on Saturday. It did not cause us very much grief because we arrived at about 11am. Waited about a 1/2 hour and then decide to just leave for they day and let them sort it out. Upon arrival back it was INSANE. Our room was ready, as well as like 100 other families, the lines were insane. Luckily an employee heard us talking and checked us in without the line. Holy lucky stars. That was a huge plus. People wasted and hour waiting for check in. The hotel was kind and cordial to try and fix things and gave us a $50 credit. We had concierge level, but without knowing, it’s not open on sat nights and sundays. The exact nights we were there to utilize it. Very Disappointing. But, the added 1000 points to my account. Over all, I give it a 4 out of 5. Read less

Booked this hotel for three nights on the Marriott website, received confirmation email. When I arrived, the hotel had no record of my reservation. I presented a printed copy of the reservation and after going through two assistants I finally got into my room. When I go to check out, the hotel randomly raises my hotel rate for each night AND insists I was a No-Show for another reservation at the same hotel at the same night. They charged my credit card for one nights stay. After repeated attempts to correct this matter I have still not heard from management and my money is still in limbo. To add insult to injury, Marriott has STILL not credited me for my Marriott points for the three nights I stayed at the hotel. So much for Silver Status. Quick to take your money, not so quick to correct mistakes. #NoMoreMarriott Read less

Our conference was a great success and we never felt crowded. The Marriott was world class, clean, exquisitely appointed and the staff was professional and courteous. Read less

The room is spacious, updated and has nice amenities. The location is a nice short walk within the core with nice city views. The club level rooms are nice with a lounge with wide hours for a creative set of snacks and comfy seating. The shower pressure during peak time (7 am) was not great but temperatures good.

After wating at the registration desk for 20 minutes with only 1 clerk who was a novice with little training, people in line (we were about 12 people deep) complained to the other clerk, a manager, who had been servicing the same client all this time. That clerk shot back to the group waiting that we needed to be civil and wait while she continued for another 10 minutes with the unhappy guests who were arguing over some issue. We asked for additional managers and were told to be polite and wait our turn! When our clerk finally attended to us, she did not know how to check us in for an Expedia booking and stared at her screen with a mocking smile for another 10 minutes until the other clerk came to help her. When we told her she was clueless, the "manager" told us we had to be polite and patient! Last time at this dive!! Read less
