I've stayed here a few times for work conferences nearby over the last few years. It is overall a great hotel, large clean rooms, spacious bathroom, comfy beds. You can upgrade to a high floor room that has a lovely view of the city (although the window is dirty). Staff was overall great, and they do actually follow the environmentally friendly "don't clean my room every day" if you put a tag on the door for it. Gym is nice, you can run with a view, and they have a large pool (although this means the whole gym smells like chlorine...you get used to it after 5 minutes or so) Only con is the room service, forgot part of my order, so i had to wait another 30 minutes for it and they charged me for their mistake. Not a huge deal, but kind of lacking in customer service. Hotel "bar" is more like a sports bar in the mall, so if you are looking for that 'hotel lounge' vibe, you wont find it here. But, it's connected via indoor walkways to the mall on both sides, so plenty of nearby food and drink even in the snow. Read less

Great hotel, staff is super nice and helpful. Convenient location to great food and shopping. The hotel connects to a mall like shopping and excellent food, cocktails and shopping experience. The location is convenient walking distance to the historic Boston sites.

Food & drink 9/10 Room & facilities 9/10 Staff 10/10 Any improvements? More seats on the second level. No window in the room to open (not a big one just something just to let some air into the room) I'm just being picky now, really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for one night second time, great location for where I had to be for business. This hotel big and Verrone there is on business. Elevators take forever and you feel like you in an office building. The room itself is very nice and so are the staff. Do not stay here if on vacation but do if on business

All in all, a well located hotel near high end shops and the Boston Central Library. The room was nicely updated but the bathroom left a lot to be desired (updates clearly did not extend to this space), although it was clean and functional. The room was nicely updated but the bathroom left a lot to be desired (updates clearly did not extend to this space), although it was clean and functional. However, Marriott desperately needs to change out the towels, which were thin and course; something I would imagine is standard prison issue. Marriott, it’s the little things that make the difference in the crowded Boston hotel market. You can do better. Read less
