Great hotel close to shopping, (connecting via walking bridges) Harbor views, and restaurants. The M club was a big step ahead of normal Marriott’s breakfast. Since we are titanium level, we were updated to a suite. (Nice perk :-) The beds are comfortable and check in was a breeze. The only reason for a 4/5.. was the noise in the hallways and adjoining room. (But I guess it’s the luck of the draw) also a bit surprised about the lower quality of towels. Cleaning staff readily available and so nice. Beware it is a taxi ride to all the Boston sites. Read less

The rooms are comfortable but typical for Marriott (you can hear your neighbor & some street noise). The bed is noisy but the shower is great. The Yard House in the hotel has a wonderful selection but can be difficult for dinner because there are so many conference attendees and they take over the bar area in the evenings. DO NOT GO TO THE STARBUCKS in the lobby, in the morning. They are incredibly busy and cannot keep up with mobile and counter orders. We waited 30 min for 2 scones (no drinks). Get your pastry the day before and make coffee in the room. Read less

Huge room with two queens beds, very newly renovated. Really smart bathroom but no tub. The room really was great with a big chair and housekeeping was fantastic. My only criticism is there was no key only access to the elevators and given the hotel is connected to two huge public shopping malls, this felt like a lack of security. Read less

Pros: front desk check in was efficient, friendly. On site restaurant. Comfortable beds. Cons: very loud hotel lobby, restaurant was incredibly loud with the radio as high as possible, it seems. Rooms don’t have vents in bathrooms. Showers had no pressure. Location was nice.

My experience started out well when I contacted the hotel with some questions before my arrival. I spoke to Julia B. who was awesome! So helpful, and she was able to get me a room upgrade (jr. suite-which is as big as a regular suite in most hotels). I really appreciated it! Upon arrival, there is a check-in lane for Marriott Elite members (I'm platinum), and that moved much more quickly than the regular line. Christianna checked me in-very friendly and knowledgeable. My room wasn't quite ready, so I went to the M Club on the second floor—really nice lounge with soft drinks and other beverages, plenty of snacks, and lots of space where you can watch t.v. or work. In fact, I ate breakfast at the M Club every day and also stopped by for their hors d'oeuvres and creative, yummy desserts. The staff both outside and inside the lounge were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located to many things, and it's easy to get an Uber. (I never waited more than five minutes for an Uber). It's attached to a mall that you can access from the second floor of the hotel. The mall is all upscale stores (Tiffany, David Yurman, Grand Seiko, Neiman Marcus, Jimmy Choose, Gucci, Mont Blanc, Burberry, etc. I don't think there were any "regular" stores for people who don't want to splurge, but really nice to window shop. The only negative about my stay was that the walls seem to be thin. When I was in the living room part of the suite, I could hear the conversation of the people next door to me, and when I was in the bedroom, I could hear the people in the other room. But that just happened once or twice, and it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely return to this Marriott! Read less
