Excellent location, friendly staff, clean (comfy) rooms. Downtown antics were pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday night, but at least my partner had no trouble sleeping through it. Overall, though, it was a reasonable rate and put you close to everything.

A very clean and well maintained hotel. The reviews regarding the street noise are overblown. We had a room that faced the hospital and barely heard anything. Helena at the front desk was very friendly and went out of her way to get to know us and offer to help if we needed anything during our stay. Ismel at the bar in Wisteria was great and… Read more

Many hotel guests called the Boston police to disperse the crowd, and only after 3am, did they finally respond. We barely slept that night. We paid a total of $1100 for 2 nights — way too expensive to be next to a terrible location. Also, the housekeeping was not thorough. Our coffee/tea station was not restocked upon our arrival and throughout our stay. We needed to call the concierge 3 times in 2 days to ask for restocks. The only pleasant aspects of the hotel were the friendly front-desk attendants, and the live music in the lobby on weekends. However, I won’t stay here again and will advise others to avoid this hotel. Read less

Great staff, great location, however loud music that shook our room went in both Fri and sat night from 2-3 am!!!! Looking at previous reviews, this is not new!!! Management needs to work with city to mitigate this. Clearly a noise violation. Not desks fault. Too bad as it is a great spot with wonderful staff.

I do not recommend the DoubleTree Boston Downtown if you value a good night’s sleep, especially if you’re staying in a city-view room. I do not recommend the DoubleTree Boston Downtown if you value a good night’s sleep, especially if you’re staying in a city-view room. It’s past 1a.m. now, and for the second night in a row, I haven’t been able to sleep well. There are drunken young people loudly laughing and shouting, and motorcycles race down the street, creating a lot of noise. The hotel’s soundproofing is poor, and guests are constantly disturbed, waking up frequently. Additionally, the hotel is right next to a hospital, which doesn’t feel very safe, and the frequent sound of ambulances makes it impossible to rest. What makes it worse is the manager’s rude, cold attitude, showing no concern for guests’ needs. This stands in stark contrast to the warmth and helpfulness of other staff members, making it even more unbelievable that someone with such poor service skills could be a manager. This has a negative impact on the entire hotel’s image. The hotel’s facilities are outdated, with many things broken and not properly repaired. Many guests choose this hotel because of the Hilton brand, but unfortunately, it falls far short of the standard expected from Hilton properties. Boston is a beautiful city, and we love it, but I strongly advise against staying at this hotel, as it could ruin your trip. Read less
