Average service. Extremely high priced and very poor value. Outdated furnishings. For the price, breakfast should have been included. Option to waive service is tacky at best. I will pick an alternative next time I visit.

Location great next to Chinatown. Poor value as room small and no view for double queen room for over $550 with taxes. Internet nonfunctional— you could connect but then the net work would kick you out within minutes requiring reconnection. We spent 3 nights at the DoubleTree. We were not familar with Boston but wanted a hotel not far from the Freedom Trail. The Freedmon walk starts at Boston Commons which is about a 10 minute walk. The hotel occupies 6 floors above a YMCA. A T stop is near the hotel which is across from the emergency room of Tuffs Medical Center. We found… Read more

For more than $500 a night you would expect much more from a hotel. The room is quite average, no workspace at all. The elevators, for a 6-story hotel travel at the speed of very cold molasses, so get exercise and walk up the stairs. If you don't have to stay close to Tufts Medical Center, think of staying someplace with more value for the cost.

Overall a very nice hotel. Breakfast was very good and gym access is a plus. The beds were very comfortable. The shower handle could use some updating, it was a little tricky to dial in a temp. The carpets seem old a dingy but that’s about it.
