It’s been a long time since we have had an outstanding 5 star all around experience at a hotel. The staff and service have been attentive, responsive and simply great. The gold club was worth every penny. The breakfast each morning had something for everyone and was a great way to start the day. The room was surprisingly large with a big… Read more

The gold club was worth every penny. The breakfast each morning had something for everyone and was a great way to start the day. The room was surprisingly large with a big bathroom which easily accommodated 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The hotel is located two blocks from Newbury Street and easily accessible to many attractions including Boston universities. Read less

Just visited the hotel this past marathon weekend. . Everything was great . It was a beautiful facility with great food and atmosphere. The valet and front desk staff could not have been more pleasant. I agree with and earlier post that Rudy,Jai,and Gilbert were exceptional. Could not ask for a more satisfying visit. Have been here many times for drinks and food. It’s pricey, however their cocktails are made with quality ingredients. Food is nice for upscale bar food although vegatarian choice is limited. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful. If you are planning on eating here I would recommend booking, especially at weekends as this is usually… Read more

I went here for a business seminar. My room was fairly standard. Nothing resonated the Fairmont brand you find abroad. The facilities in room were quite dated. The gym was of decent standard, but the food quality was good. There is nothing damning or exceptional to say. Location was definitely a plus. I just expected more from a Fairmont property.

We stayed at the Fairmont Copley many times, and it was always superb. We hadn't been there in five years, however, and were interested to see whether they would still live up to their historic standards. Connor got things off to a great start by taking care to get us our favorite room which is out of the way and quiet, and by recommending and setting up reservations for us at both an old favorite and a new restaurant. Julie was there at the welcome desk whenever we had a question or needed something (or a timely suggestion). Gilbert went out of his way to provide courteous meal service, but then so did Jay and, later, Rudy. By this point, we were up to five names who ALL deserve individual attention and thanks. But there were several others. And the food was fabulous. My wife and I have very different tastes, but there were many offerings at every meal that delighted each of us. In summary, the Fairmont has brought things that needed to be changed up to date; for example, a very modern and highly capable coffee drink machine in place of the previous pot. But in doing so, they have been very careful to maintain the personal touch and guest service standards that distinguished them so well, and thankfully still do. And the old-school charm and elegance of the hotel has been carefully preserved as well. Read less
