Amazing and friendly staff. The restaurant has a really good lobster roll. Good WiFi, amazing location close to a subway station, shopping and restaurants, the AMEX upgrade gave us a suite and it was huge. Amazing coffee cart. Well worth the price.

The location of this hotel was perfect. One block away from Newberry Street. And on the opposite side of the park is where you could access the freedom Trail. Great restaurant recommendations as well. The restaurant on site was delicious..

Carpets need serious overhaul! Lobby always congested with a prom or a convention so was’t pleasant. Beds were comfortable but there was no mini fridge but there was a place for it. So looked unkept. Wanted to put money and passports in safe only to find out doesn't work. When we inquired we were told ‘ya doesn't usually work’! Seriously how are you a 4 star. Breakfast was mediocre, had to sit and order which is fine except the waiters are slow and not that efficient. Had to ask for coffee 4-5 times. Overall wasn’t worth the exuberant price we paid for grad weekend. Also doesn't deserve 4 stars. Shameful to carry Fairmont name. Read less

However, when we saw the room condition, we were disappointed. It seemed that the room was not thoroughly inspected by the housekeeping manager and needed some maintenance. So, we went down to see the manager on duty. It was Ms Rav, she was very professional and offered us to move room later. The new room was comfortable and clean. We ordered food mostly from in room dining. The food was fine. I particularly liked the breakfast. The croissant was very delicious though, flaky and warm. The hash brown and bacon were crispy to my taste. We also went to the restaurant, service was good. Overall stay was good thanks to Ms Rav and her team. Oh, she also prepared a cheese platter for my nephew’s birthday! One more thing, while we were at the hotel, we mer Cory, the friendly labrador. Read less

Totally disappointed. The hotel is run down, old and smelly elevators, mediocre service. Rooms do not have a mini fridge and the in room safe does not work despite requesting it to be fixed. Food options are average. Staff service lacks attention to detail or any quality that is linked to the Fairmont Brand. I will never return to your hotel nor… Read more
