The hotel

On a city break with friends? Or a quick weekend away with the other half? Moxy Boston is perfect for a fun filled trip, bringing colourful party vibes to your stay. When you walk in you'll be greeted with the hotel's signature cocktail on the house in Bar Moxy, and if your room isn't ready yet, why not order some small plates and jump on the foosball table for a bit of competitive fun. When you get to your room, they're decorated simply with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city or Charles River. Throughout the rest of the hotel there's plenty of vibrant colours and fun artwork all around, and there's even a photobooth in the lobby for you to get some takeaway snaps as a souvenir! In terms of location, you're just a couple of minutes walk from the Subway station, so you can easily explore the area. There are plenty of theatre's close to the hotel too, so you can enjoy shows and performances to your hearts content.

Located in the Theater District, just a few minutes walk from the Subway station and Boston Common. Transfer time from Boston Logan International Airport: approximately 15 mins.

This was our first time staying at a Moxy. We were given food/beverage coupons upon arrival, but there was no other information given about the structure. Our room was fine. I have read other reviews that said rooms were small, but we didn't find our room terribly small. We had four large suitcases and because of the room we were in, we had plenty of space to store them. The bed on one side is entirely too close to the wall making it awkward to get in and out of bed. There are no closets, only hooks on the wall. While the room was fine, it was not we designed in terms of layout. We used our welcome drink coupon on our second night. Out of the three options on the card, only the beer was available. We used our food coupons for breakfast each day. The options are limited and not so healthy. The only options you could choose from was a breakfast sandwich with hash browns and other combinations of eggs/bacon/hash browns. We asked for fruit and there was only an apple available on day one of our four day stay. Overall our stay was ok, but if I was going to Boston again, I would choose another hotel. The hotel is in a good location with access to tourist attractions and transportation. Read less

Service was amazing, especially Jay at the front desk. She checked us in early and gave great recommendations around the city! Rooms are cleverly designed, maximizing space without compromising comfort. I cannot wait to come back to Boston and stay at the Moxy Boston Downtown!!

Mario and Youseff were incredibly accommodating. They made me and my boyfriend feel welcome in such a new city! Additionally, they helped us get a speedy check in which was especially important since we are in Boston a short time! Thanks guys!
