I stayed for a couple of nights about one week after they reopened, and like others have noted, there was a lot of attention paid to service and cleanliness. The hotel, itself, is magnificent and full of class and history. Everything is just so timeless. My bugaboo is with the destination charge. I'm just so sick of these charges, and when I booked through Historic Hotels of America, there was no charge in the quote I was provided (which specifically had a line item for "taxes and fees" but certainly didn't include a $20/night fee), and no language in the confirmation that said I might be charged a DC. When I got my bill, of course, there was a $20/night fee attached. This is galling, especially because the hotel didn't really have any "amenities" other than wifi. After I expressed my displeasure, the clerk finally agreed to remove the charge. You'd think that hotels would be willing to cut out this !#$@ to get guests back in their hotels. Read less

As times are different, we were very pleased with our stay. Very clean, pleasant staff! We were disappointed that the restaurants were closed but was expected. I need to emphasize how pleasant the staff was. We were comfortable, THEY were absolutely knowledgeable of where we could still go for food and drink. We can’t wait to return.

The location of the hotel is awesome- right by the Freedom Trail and the Boston Common. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was perfect. No bothering noises disturbing us and the beds were like heaven. I felt like I was on cloud 9. The view was also perfect I fell in love with the shampoo and conditioner they provided 🤡. The diner place within the hotel is real nice too. The breakfast choices I had were mouth watering. The hotel overall is in a great location like the heart of downtown Boston. It's a short walk from the hotel to restaurants and other amenities. I would definitely stay here when I visit every year (sadly not this year due to COVID). I would recommend you all to stay here! We stayed here in May of 2019 on a "mother/daughter extravaganza" and it was fantastic. The hotel is fabulous, old school decadence with gold elevators and amazing details. The staff were INCREDIBLE- helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The LOCATION- wow. We walked everywhere but the airport. EVERYWHERE. It was perfect, right on the Freedom Trail- we had the most incredible time in Boston. We were so busy we never had a chance to visit the restaurant, but we will be back and will be SURE to visit the Omni Parker House again! Read less

We stay here every time we are in Boston. Absolutely love the interior, particularly the elevator doors. The location is incredible as well - right next to the Common, and within walking distance of almost everything. The beds are soo comfy.
