The hotel

In the thriving Seaport District, this feature-packed hotel’s just steps from one of neighbourhood’s biggest draws, The Lawn on D. The outside comes in at The Westin Boston Seaport District too, with its lobby greeting you with natural stone and wood, a vertical garden, and leafy trees. Delve deeper and you’ll find 4 bars and restaurants, each sharing its own take on all-American dining: there’s the contemporary slant at Sauciety, the Irish-American pub twist at MJ O’Connor’s, American grill favourites at Birch Bar, and local light bites at City Bar. When you’ve had your fill of the food, the Westin’s Laugh Boston comedy club presents local and national acts. And, if Boston’s sightseeing highlights don’t eat up every second of your trip, there’s always the indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness studio, and group runs guided by a ‘RunWESTIN Concierge’.

We had a great stay. Service and rooms were terrific, especially Sharon at breakfast. Workout room was spacious and well equipped. Location provided walking distance to restaurants. Lobby was vibrant. We came up for a Father Son weekend to take in Fenway as well.

The breakfast was fantastic! My waitress, Sharon, had coffee ready for my Dad and I before we even made it back from the buffet! She was attentive and a great work ethic. Workout center great as well, awesome to see motivated people in this hotel. Clean, friendly, thank you for the hospitality Westin.

We were on a business trip and kept a small bag of business receipts and gift coupons in the nightstand drawer. After housekeeping cleaned the room, the bag was missing. They must have thrown it away, thinking it was trash since it was just papers. This was frustrating as we needed those receipts for expenses and planned to use the gift coupons and vouchers on our trip. Thankfully, Singh at the front desk was very understanding and helpful. He replaced some of the vouchers, although the receipts were gone. Singh always offered bottled water and greeted me warmly every morning, making a bad situation better. In the future, we’ll be more careful not to leave things that look like trash in the drawers, as housekeeping might mistake them for garbage, like our bag of receipts. Singh’s great service really stood out. -John Read less

She made us happy to be there, and our breakfasts were always enjoyable. Sharon’s positive attitude made our mornings great. Overall, the Sauciety restaurant is one of the best places to start your day with a buffet that has pretty much everything you could want. Our favorites were the avocado toast, chicken sausage, and custom omelets. -John & Kathleen Read less
