Image of the Tripadvisor rating Nice hotel but poor room amenities

Nice hotel, great location but poor room amenities (no coffee make, no mini bar, no fridge, mediocre toiletries and only 1 robe). There are many other, better hotels in the Copley Square and Back Bay area of Boston.

The hotel is fantastic. It is so centrally locates. Staff is very friendly, kind and efficient. We had a corner room on the 10th floor. Fantastic view of the city. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Boston.

The location is great, and as usual in the Westin the Gym is good. Very basic tool, a bit cold in design but it does the job. Very central and connected to all the mail Parts of town. Few steps away from Newbury street and all the attractions and walking distance.

I never come on here to write reviews but after the ridiculous stay and post-stay situations I've had to deal with, I felt compelled to issue a rebuttal to all the glowing reviews on here. The hotel shows no appreciation for elite members of its program. The room lacks basic amenities. The pillows are awful and it's dark. What makes all these issues worse is the lack of proper service provided by the hotel staff. No one cares. They just hand you from one person to another. For all my troubles, I was told I would get 25,000 points in my account. Surprise, surprise, I never got it. And following up with the hotel has been even more appalling than staying there. Where are my gifted points for all my troubles? I'm still waiting for it. Doesn't seem to be that much of a gift if I have to jump through hoops and go through more hurdles to get them. What an AWFUL hotel with AWFUL staff. What a WASTE of a prime location, with the hotel being so Central and close to so much. Just what a disappointing waste! Read less

I just stayed at the Westin Copley for 4 nights for my vacation. I stayed in room 3112. It's a suite, river view. Lets say the positives, big flat screen TV that was on rotating mount so you could move it where you'd like. My suite was very clean, bed and couch comfortable. Loved the walk in shower, rain shower head with wand that had great pressure. Beautiful view, good location, safe great. Now for the bad. Really small bathroom especially for a suite. Took me 3 flushes to flush the toilet, it wasn't operating properly. I told front desk and nothing was done about it. I also had a dead bolt that would stick open every time I opened the door, I had to literally push it in so I could close the door. Again reported it and nothing was done about it. The in room dining was just OK, didn't have a big variety at all. I believe they have downsized a lot recently with Marriott buying them. That's a shame I was really looking forward to that, great food and a big variety. But here's the biggest stain on my vacation. I had 2 connecting doors, one to another suite and another one to a regular room. You could hear absolutely everything going on in both rooms. Every conversation, every cough, every sneeze, every clearing of the throat and they could hear everything I was doing. I was by myself so my only noise was the TV. It was especially irritating when I was watching movie's and I had to keep raising and lowering the sound as to not irritate my neighbors. This really isn't a vacation. I think if you pay for a suite you should be able to listen to your TV loud enough so you can actually hear it. The person in the room next to me complained about me, I got a knock and the door because I raised my TV loud enough to hear it over the other room. That really annoyed me. Really not a good situation. You're paying for a suite to have a wonderful experience and instead you're irritated. I will never again stay anywhere that has an adjoining room and especially not 2 adjoining rooms! The door to the room you enter in you could hear everything clear as day outside the room too but that's pretty standard for must hotels. Will I ever go back, I doubt it. Read less
