Not satisfied with just being super-central, the Wyndham Beacon Hill has come up with plenty of its own distractions: on top of complimentary WiFi, it offers the artisan-meets-casual-American cooking of The Dean’s List restaurant, and a seasonal swimming pool, complete with a serene sundeck giving you views of Boston and the waterfront.

I would not stay here again. I stayed here with my staff as My first room was 824 and it looked as if someone had broken into it previously based on the damage to the door and the safety lock. I was then moved to 623, which is a Jr suite. It definitely was a larger room, but the carpet, furnishings, and especially the bed need to be replaced. I haven't been in a hotel bed that has springs that you can feel since my Spring Break trip during my freshman year of college over 30 years ago. I wasn't sure about the cleanliness of the shower, so I wore my flip flops and used my lysol wipes to wipe everything down. The regular rooms don't have a refrigerator. The Jr suite had a refrigerator and microwave. Both rooms have a safe. Apparently, Massachusetts doesn't allow discounting of alcohol so there is no happy hour pricing at the hotel restaurant/bar. I had a mediocre, at best, glass of Chardonnay for $13. The breakfast was basic, and the coffee was terrible with that bitter burnt taste. Try Flour next to the restaurant for better coffee and food. There is a CVS and Whole Foods market right behind the hotel. There are lots of good restaurants within a 3 minute walk. The hotel is in a great location but has seen better days. I wouldn't stay again. Read less

This hotel is in a great location. Proximity to the Common, Newbury St, Mass General. We loved the ability to walk to great spots. The rooms were clean and efficient. The mattresses could use an update as they were very firm. I would stay here again.

Warning this hotel is outdated and needs to have new management or needs a make over. The beds were uncomfortable, there was a musty smell and our room felt like it had a lot of moisture. The TV is not able to stream and the business center is out dated. Out of 2 computers there only 1 worked and it was so slow. Only 2 elevators were working. I… Read more

Everything was excellent Staff helped with info about subway, getting to Fenway and things to do in the city. Parking was a little pricey $60 per day but convenient and safe.

We received outstanding service from the entire staff, and we really enjoyed the Dean's List restaurant.
