Where is it

Directly across from the beach in the laid-back surfers' paradise of Huntington Beach, close to attractions and shopping, and within easy walking distance of the famous Huntington Beach Pier. It is the only hotel in Huntington Beach to have direct access to the beach for guests, via private pedestrian bridge.

Great location within walking distance of the beach. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms have nice furnishings. The gym is very well equipped and clean. The Watertable restaurant has great food and friendly staff. I was very happy with my stay.

I encountered a huge issue during my recent stay at the Hyatt Huntington Regency from July 21st to July 25th. When I made the reservation, I was under the impression that the total cost would be $1490 for the entire stay from the 21st to the 23rd, not per night. I would not have booked this reservation if I had known the rate was per night. As soon as I checked out, I immediately called to address this discrepancy. I have been a loyal guest at this property for the past 18 years and I am familiar with the usual rates. Last year, when we stayed in a larger suite, the rate was only around $1,000 per night. I would like to listen to the recording of my conversation with the agent to confirm whether they mentioned $1490 per night or $1490 for the three nights. I must express my disappointment with the $50 gift card offering. It feels like a disregard for the seriousness of the situation. I kindly request that someone take this matter more seriously. It would be greatly appreciated if I could listen to the recording or obtain a transcript of the conversation. This is a huge financial impact on my family’s finances. Be sure to have the check-in people go over your rate and stat details. If they did that then it would have saved me thousands of dollars. Read less

We had an amazing stay in July. Outside of our meeting times, we spent our time lounging at the pool, having a full view of the beach. The hotel is walking distance to the pier, restaurants and shops. I can’t wait to book our next stay!

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort is so conveniently located to the beach, shopping and great restaurants. I especially recognized the pier and beach trails as a notable location where a few movies and tv shows were filmed. Great experience to have been there in such a popular spot!

The property itself is just beautiful and SO well maintained! The gardens are so pretty and the pool areas were clean and well-stocked with towels. The ability to borrow towels, chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach was great! And so easy to get to the beach by just walking over the Hyatt bridge. The mattress and pillows were out of this world comfortable and the rooms spotlessly cleaned by their wonderful staff! We had dinner and 2 breakfasts at their restaurant Watertable. The service was so great by Ricky for dinner, who made our dinner just a very memorable occasion! For breakfast we were greeted by Kaitlin, who is so warm and welcoming! We sat at the bar for breakfast and had the privilege of having Josh as our server. What a terrific guy - so congenial, upbeat and accommodating. He makes sure that everyone feels comfortable and well cared for when he is there! The whole staff really seemed to pull together as a team and that is a great reflection on Hyatt.
