The hotel

The oceanfront pool is also a top spot to spend your day, where you can drink in the oceanfront views with a selection of Cali inspired drinks from the poolside bar. Come sunset, head to the stylish Treehouse for a sundowner with panoramic views, before you dance your night away as some of the areas best DJ’s take to the decks. After a fun night, you’ll wake up to views of the glittering sea, as all the rooms here have at least partial ocean views from your balcony, complementing the soothing coastal hues of the rooms themselves.

Partial Ocean View Rooms feature limited coastal views, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Ocean View Rooms are located on the north and south sides of the resort, offering views of the Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Oceanfront Guest Rooms feature unobstructed, 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Tanner’s Restaurant (contemporary coastal cuisine with ocean views from indoor and outdoor seating, open for all day dining, with daily happy hour). Treehouse Lounge (rooftop bar serving SoCal inspired drinks and light bites, with regular live DJ’s and daily happy hour). Blend Café (serving hot and cold drinks, fresh pastries and paninis, and a range of grab and go items, throughout the day). Ninth Island Pool Bar (serving poolside bites and cocktails until sunset).

There’s a active four inch Sq. Mold patch above the shower head. AC was loud and ineffective, the QR code for room service was a dead page, the pillows could be the worst I’ve ever experienced, with the possible exception of that five year stretch I did in Federal prison.

The views of sunset from the balcony were stunning. The hotel and staff are exceptional. Great location within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and pier. Top tier California coastal experience.

I went to the Aarna Spa at the Pasea Hotel and Spa for a relaxing day with my friend for her birthday. The Spa is beautiful and as soon as you walk in you can feel the positive energy. We were warmly greeted by Melissa at the front desk. She showeed us around and walked us to the locker/jacuzzi/area. Everything was nice and clean. The vibe throughout the spa was very calm and relaxing. The lounge area was great as well. I had a 100 minute massage and it was amazing. Unfortunately, I forgot the therapist’s name but I am sure all the massage therapists here are great. We also enjoyed the outdoor garden area where we ate lunch in our robes. It was great! I really wanted to stay longer. Thank you to the security manager, Andrew for recommending the spa. It did not disappoint! I will definitely be going back! Read less
