The hotel

The oceanfront pool is also a top spot to spend your day, where you can drink in the oceanfront views with a selection of Cali inspired drinks from the poolside bar. Come sunset, head to the stylish Treehouse for a sundowner with panoramic views, before you dance your night away as some of the areas best DJ’s take to the decks. After a fun night, you’ll wake up to views of the glittering sea, as all the rooms here have at least partial ocean views from your balcony, complementing the soothing coastal hues of the rooms themselves.

250 guestrooms decorated with a coastal vibe, all with private balcony, air conditioning, WiFi access, Aarna Spa bath products, bathrobes, flip flops, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, safe, Keurig® machine with Peerless Coffee and Tea®, utility LED clock with USB power ports, and 48” Smart LED web TV.

Partial Ocean View Rooms feature limited coastal views, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Ocean View Rooms are located on the north and south sides of the resort, offering views of the Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Oceanfront Guest Rooms feature unobstructed, 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Tanner’s Restaurant (contemporary coastal cuisine with ocean views from indoor and outdoor seating, open for all day dining, with daily happy hour). Treehouse Lounge (rooftop bar serving SoCal inspired drinks and light bites, with regular live DJ’s and daily happy hour). Blend Café (serving hot and cold drinks, fresh pastries and paninis, and a range of grab and go items, throughout the day). Ninth Island Pool Bar (serving poolside bites and cocktails until sunset). 

Live poolside DJ set every Saturday and Sunday from midday – 6.00pm.

If you like lipstick on a pig then stay here. This property is more concerned about outside appearances than making sure they provide a quality experience. If you like lipstick on a pig then stay here. This property is more concerned about outside appearances than making sure they provide a quality experience. The ocean view rooms should have been sold as a partial view, you only get a good ocean view if you do the ocean front rooms. Most of our ocean view room was parking and buildings. The restaurant is awful don’t bother and the bar doesn’t own a blender so if you want a nice blended drink they can’t do it. Food quality was subpar and they are more interested in giving you instagram ready dishes than making sure they are cooked properly. The staff are really nice so that is a positive. Read less

He had so much great information and again was so nice to my daughter and stayed with us till we got our room! Keyana waitress at the pool was the best! Anything my daughter wanted she helped with! Let's just say snow cones and cherries and chocolate milk! All of our food at lorea and by the pool was fantastic! We highly recommend this place ! Loved all the things Pasea presented and the services. All the employees were very courteous and helpful. The only real critic I had was the limited brunch menu. There regular menu was better. Thanks to all the people for our great stay.

Not a kid friendly pool or atmosphere, and the music from the tree top bar pounding late into the night doesn't help either.
