The hotel

The kids will be wowed by the grand castle entry from the minute you pull up at this hotel, and the Disney magic doesn't end there. With a complimentary shuttle - the 'Dream Machine' - running every 30 minutes to Disneyland Resort®, which is actually walkable too, this is the ideal base to visit the crown jewel of California theme parks, and the main man Mickey himself. The themed hotel sits across 13 acres of lush gardens, adding to the castle theme, with cute courtyards and ponds offering that sense of tranquillity - just moments from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks! You can grab a cold drink from the Garden Court Bistro and relax in the outdoor seating area, soak off in the pool, or simply sit amongst the greenery with a good book, because not every minute needs to be 'go, go, go'. Another bonus is the size of the rooms! The largest in the area - giving families ample room to relax after a busy day. With plenty of family friendly dining options, and a games room to boot - this fairytale look hotel is a timeless favourite for all ages.

Horrible horrible hotel, worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room booked was not wheelchair accessible, new room had only one bed, no discount given, blood on sheets in new room. New room directly next to freeways and very loud. Staff not friendly or helpful at all. Rooms only cleaned every 3 days. Despicable service, horrible hotel, no free… Read more

The mini fridge smelled like fish. We couldn't use it. The ice machine was not working on our floor. The worst part was their shuttle schedule. They only run 1 bus every half hour at the end of the night when 100's of us are waiting to return to the hotel after Disney fireworks. Never again

Absolutely disgusting! Rooms are dated and clearly do not get cleaned. To sum it up, there was poop in the toilet when we checked in, a roach in the bathroom, hair on the floor, stains and hair on the bedding and a clothing item from a previous guest. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ONE BIT! I am not sure how this place is still listed on… Read more

I wish I would have listened to the negative reviews but I took a chance. I booked directly for a specific room type (castle with bunk beds for my children) and the hotel did not have it as they overbooked. Normally, not a big deal but they put me in an “upgraded” room with one bed and couch that had bugs in the room, stained pillows and extremely outdated. Cold water in the shower. I stood for 3 days and no stay over service and they gave a family of 4 1 toilet paper roll. When I reached out for this to be rectified, very politely might I add, the managers even refused to give a slight 10% discount. This is laughable. The location isn’t even worth it, there are plenty of hotels directly across the street for same price or less that you don’t need to shuttle for. The only reason I booked this was to have a “castle like experience” for my kids. $1000 for a weekend and I’ll never rebook. Read less

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfy beds. We also thought the decor of the hotel itself was very nice and very pretty. The gift shop with snacks was also convenient. We also had free parking with our package through Disney.com which was awesome. The hallways were a little tricky to navigate through finding our room but we would eventually find our way. Didn’t use the pool but later learned you can see the Disney fireworks from there wish we would’ve known! Overall very nice stay especially with the shuttle. Would stay there again and get a room with bigger bathroom. Read less
