The hotel

It's all about the location at this large ‘Disney Good Neighbour’ hotel. It's just a 15-20 minute stroll to Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney. If you want to save your energy though you can jump on the shuttle* that picks up and drops off right outside the hotel. Fancy a day off from the parks? There’s a large outdoor family-friendly pool and a water play area. Win-win. And after dinner, why not head to Mix Lounge, set in the lively atrium lobby*, for a signature cocktail or glass of something from the extensive wine list. *temporary relocated

Stephan with Hilton Grand Vacations was super helpful and informative. He explained everything to us but was never pushy and answered any and all questions we had. We ended up buying a package from him and would come back to see him again! Such a great deal!

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! The “pardon our dust” tag on the website could not nearly explain the mess of this property!! 6 am wake up call to jackhammering right outside of our room every morning. The maze of this place while under construction makes you feel disoriented. The ongoing humming and drilling inside of the lobby made us nauseous. The sink and bathtub in our room would not drain. The carpet was filthy. The beds were on a slant so you have to sleep in the middle in order to not fall out of the bed. NO ACCOMMODATIONS available but Starbucks and one restaurant. The photos that were shown when booking were MOCK PHOTOS FOR DESIRED RENOVATIONS. The inadequacy of what was shown upon booking is means for reporting to the better business bureau for false advertisement. This hotel ruined our trip! Horrible hotel staff aside from the house keeper. They do not care about how horrible your stay is. Myself and all other guests that I spoke to were so infuriated with their experience here. The customer service representative over the phone said there was nothing he could do to accommodate us better and hung up on me. The front desk staff were rude and disengaged. The manager was just as unhelpful. Expect additional $100 in taxes, $40 p/ day for parking and a $150 deposit upon checkin. Ugh we are so upset!! I am usually not a Karen but this experience on this property was unbelievable!! Do not stay here until mid 2025 when renovations are finished as you will be just as disappointed! We usually always stay the Hilton but this experience will make us Hilton clients no more. I wish I could upload a video of the actuality of this property to showcase all of the above I described including the noise of construction. I DEMAND A FULL REFUND FOR THIS HORRIFIC ACCOMMODATION EXPERIENCE Read less

We stayed at Hilton Anaheim for a big family vacation. This was our first time staying here & will definitely be our last. The hotel had a scheduled water shut off & did not give us ANY prior notice. We weren't informed when we checked in about the work to be done. After we checked in, we received welcome texts & emails to check on our stay but got nothing regarding the water shut off. We only found out because we visited the lounge later in the evening to order something to eat & the women at the table next to us were angrily discussing it. Not related to the issue at hand, but the food was terrible and incredibly overpriced at $140 for 2 personal pizzas, a cheeseburger, and an appetizer, no drinks - just water. It was served at room temp and tasted like bar food at best. I then visited the front desk about the water & was told that there was a letter on the counter informing us of the planned shut off, a letter that was not there when we checked in the day before. No other notice! They said that they could not compensate for anything because it hadn't happened yet. At that point we could not leave, we booked in advance through Hilton and next day hotel rentals were too expensive. We spent the day at Disneyland with family until midnight & were then unable to flush the toilet leaving it all night or take showers. When we checked out the front desk was still in shambles and arguing about contractors and power/system shutdowns. After complaining about our horrible night & experience, they offered us a DISCOUNT on THAT NIGHT of our stay for our inconvenience. I'm not sure why they felt that was sufficient. I don't know what has changed with Hilton recently, but this was our second horrible stay in a Hilton hotel this year and the quality of the hotels and staff has declined significantly. We are Hilton Honors members who have always loved Hilton even before being members but we will not return or recommend Hilton to anyone else. Read less

It was just okay for the price you pay. 1. I felt the rooms needed updating and the windows were very noisy. They told me from the change of temperature. 2. There was construction going on at the time in the lobby so that was VERY noisy. 3. The main restaurant was good, but wish the other places in the food court stayed open a little later---and the starbucks also. They closed super early and food choices were limited. It was great to be able to pick up my enterprise rental car right from the lobby. Read less

I booked here since the rooms rates were not bad especially if using Hilton Honors points. We only stayed one night, but that was enough for me. Hilton app: Super easy to use, love that you can check in/out, pay for parking, and pick which hotel room you want. Parking: Very easy to find, just need to follow the self parking signs. A bit pricey for parking but I didn’t mind since we weren’t paying much for the room. Once in the garage, signs are a bit confusing. Room: Very spacious but also very outdated. If you’re looking for something bare bones, this is it. There was a desk space which is nice, but for a convention hotel, there was no chair at the desk so you couldn’t actually use it, which was puzzling. Bed was fine. Lighting was a bit dim. Overall: BEWARE if you are staying here while doing construction. When booking on the app it tells you they are doing construction, but in my experience, it’s never interrupted guest experience. We got back from Disneyland around 12:00 am, this is also the time we entered the room for the first time. We turned on the water, and there was none! It was difficult to get through to front desk but when I was able to connect with them, she said there was a sign at check in saying there was going to be no water from 11:00-6:00 am. Well, I checked in on the app so there was no sign. My mom went down to the front desk as well and she said there were many upset guests saying there was no sign and no one told them about the water interruption. Construction around the property also started at 7:00 am. We woke up to loud jackhammering. Safe to say our 12 hour stay here was less than pleasant. Read less
