The hotel

It's all about the location at this large ‘Disney Good Neighbour’ hotel. It's just a 10-15 minute stroll from Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney. If you want to save your energy though you can jump on the shuttle that picks up and drops off right outside the hotel. But before you go, stop at the Disney® Desk, where cast members can give you some insider tips. Fancy a day off from the parks? There’s an adults-only indoor pool and hot tub, plus an outdoor family pool and a water play area. Win-win. And after dinner you why not head to Mix Lounge, set in the lively atrium lobby, for a signature cocktail or glass of something from the extensive wine list.

This hotel is fine for visitors to Disney who are going to be at the parks from early morning to late in the evening and who do not wish to use the public areas ie bar, lounge, seating areas. During our 3 day stay there was a conference of 3000 at the adjoining conference centre. Lifts were jammed packed. We could not use the public areas other than the pool area as they were totally congested with people and we could not have a conversation as it was so noisy. It was overwhelming at times and a very unpleasant experience. We knew the hotel was near to the convention centre but naively did not consider that so many delegates would be staying at the hotel or using it as a walkway to the car parks. The food outlets were closed most of the time apart from Starbucks. The pool area was ok and the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would not return here. My family has stayed at the Hilton our last 3 trips. It's a good location. You can walk to Disney in 10-15 minutes. Can also take an Uber for less than $10. Starbucks is a good choice for a morning quick breakfast. Room is big enough for family of four. Just don't like the bathroom sliding door - would rather have the regular locking door for… Read more

My family and I stayed at the Hilton Anaheim for a convention at the end of May and beginning of June. It is ideally located next to the Convention Center. The room was clean and spacious. The service at the hotel was great. There is a bar in the lobby that is ideal for gatherings after a day at the convention, and I had a good time meeting friends there for drinks a few times. There are also a number of restaurants and places to eat on site. They are good, if not on the expensive side, and there are plenty of other options nearby. Oh, there is a Starbucks in the lobby, which is perfect for your morning coffee fix. You can also walk to Disneyland in about 20 minutes if you are so inclined. As for the cons: it is a convention hotel. Therefore, a popular convention at the convention center will demand an expensive price for the convenience of staying next door. Also, it can be a difficult to get in and out of the hotel during morning checkout and the afternoon check in. We had a good stay there, and I would definitely consider staying there again should I find myself in Anaheim for a convention in the future. Read less

Unfortunately even with my diamond status, we were not upgraded to a higher floor on check in. The staff were all very kind and nice. The hotel was BUSY as it was right next door to VidCon. We did not eat in any of the restaurants or use the pool or fitness facilities at all. We did use room service which was quick but expensive. The room was not very clean on arrival, there were crumbs around the sliding glass door. Housekeeping staff were likely overrun with the amount of people staying. Overall a solid stay. Read less

We stayed at the hotel for a vacation to Disneyland. The hotel has lots of great amenities. Check-in was very easy and our room was ready early. The gym was very large and clean. Our room was cleaned daily. The rooms are a little older and the bathrooms are small, but the beds were very comfortable.
