The hotel

It's all about the location at this large ‘Disney Good Neighbour’ hotel. It's just a 10-15 minute stroll from Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney. If you want to save your energy though you can jump on the shuttle that picks up and drops off right outside the hotel. But before you go, stop at the Disney® Desk, where cast members can give you some insider tips. Fancy a day off from the parks? There’s an adults-only indoor pool and hot tub, plus an outdoor family pool and a water play area. Win-win. And after dinner you why not head to Mix Lounge, set in the lively atrium lobby, for a signature cocktail or glass of something from the extensive wine list.

Where is it

In Anaheim, just a mile from the entrance to Disneyland Resort. The Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) shuttle stops outside the hotel ($6 per day, payable locally, subject to change). It's around 10 miles to Knotts Berry Farm. Newport Beach is around 20 miles away. Transfer time from Los Angeles International Airport: 50 minutes.

Hotel information

1572 rooms. All with heating/air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, WiFi*, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Standard Rooms have either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, with views over the sundeck, sleeping maximum 4 adults.  

Disneyview Rooms, on the top 3 floors, face Disneyland Resort and the evening (seasonal) firework displays. 

Pool View Rooms overlook the pool area and Lanai Deck Rooms open onto the 5th floor sundeck. 


Mix Restaurant (organic dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Food Court (choice of food, open for lunch and dinner), Pool Bar & Grill (May– Sep), Starbucks®. Mix Lounge (for light bites and signature drinks). Outdoor family pool. Health club and spa*, with fitness centre, indoor adults-only pool and hot tub, sauna and steam rooms. Indoor basketball court. If you can avoid staying here please do. The rooms were disgusting dirty and it smelled like mold. The sheets had stains the bathroom had mold and there was dust everywhere. I got sick the 1 night I stayed. I canceled the rest of my stay and moved to another none Hilton property.

The good: 1) Great location if you're attending a meeting at the Anaheim Convention Center. It's nice that they have a separate line for the Gold and Diamond Honors levels. 3) The staff was great! They greet you at every encounter and we're helpful throughout the stay. The bad: 1) The rooms are very outdated. I don't think anything has been updated in the rooms for over 15 years. The beds are uncomfortable and feel used. 2) I stayed on the 14th floor which is the highest floor. There were several roof leaks in the hallway during my stay when it rained. The entire floor has a musty/moldy smell. 3) The floors on the 14th floor are uneven. When you walk from the bed to the bathroom it feels like you're walking uphill. The hallways are uneven as well. I'm not sure if the hotel was built like that or if there is a greater issue. The room cost is similar to surrounding properties but visiting friends at other hotels nearby made me realize that I shouldn't just automatically assume that a Hilton would be a nicer hotel. I was quite wrong and should read the reviews further. The location and staff are great but the rest is not worth it, especially the money I paid for the room. Read less

Outside of complimentary hot water and fresh towels, don’t expect much more of perks / upgrades from this hotel. When you first stand outside your room the door looks scratched with paint chipped you immediately get a feeling of crumminess. When you enter this room that theme continues with its dated carpets, to its awkwardly placed towel racks (inline with shower head); you’ll be scratching your head when you visit. Bathrooms are short of real estate, shower curtains are tattered and yellow, even the toilet seat look as though someone scratched them up like something you see in a grungy gas station bathroom. After this experience I don’t expect them to fix it as most of it seems to be in the range of “why bother,” it seems like something the hotel disregarded due to its large quantity of guests since it’s so close to the convention center. If you’re looking for a microwave, check the 5th floor laundry mat outside near the pool deck because that’s all you’ll find for free unless you’re willing to spend $35 per day for this utility (that is to say you don’t get lost walking the halls aimlessly). If you’re looking for unclaimed outlets, those are located in odd places and few are available. I would say one other redeeming quality is the hotel’s proximity to Disneyland / Convention center and lobby breakfast which allows you to take your mind off the poor quality you’ve subjected yourself while you’re stuffing your face or enjoying the scenery of Disneyland or doing business at Convention center. This hotels days of being nice have passed and it is in desperate shape for an upgrade. Read less

Hotel room carpets were traffic worn and hallways with stains. The pattern on the carpet floor had literally disappeared. I wouldn’t walk barefoot in my room. I almost exclusively stay at Hilton branded hotels and for the price on this location I had expected more. It did not live up to the Hilton standard I am accustomed to seeing. And very few… Read more

And very few amenities included with the price. It was convenient to walk to Disney and restaurants but i would not stay here again. I had an issue with checkin and contacted customer service which was only by text, no call or reaching out. It was more of a get over it. Don’t expect much in customer service. I got there a couple of hours early. Up charge up charge up charge. I have never been charged for an early checkin if a room was available even though i know they can.
