We have stayed here many times over the years and usually love with no complaints. They have upgraded their air conditioning circulation system since our last visit. Guest rooms have no control over thermostat settings. Our daughter was so cold we had to order a floor heater. Secondly, housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8am check out day as we were hoping to sleep in after a long Disney weekend. No placards available for do not disturb. Lastly, there are protests all around the area. If you are heading into the park with small children, I suggest you park at the parking structure and tram in. The protesters are literally screaming on speakers that Disney is killing babies by supporting humanitarian relief efforts in Israel. They are everywhere along the walk to Disney from the hotel on Saturday’s at least. Read less

Let us be clear before this review starts - things go wrong all the time in all aspects of life. It is how you deal with them that is important. I respect the rights of people to protest and understand the hotel has no control over that. BUT.. We were here for a wedding onsite. The protestors, presumably protesting for the hotel opposite - Hilton!!!! - were walking all around the properties which are all stacked next to each other, with bugles, instruments, drums, whistles, megaphones and speakers. They started around 4am (4am!!!!!) and went on all day. So much so that we could not hear each other at times when we were at various venues around the property. Presumably not to confront the protestors, the hotel staff did not even attempt to ask them to stay on the Hilton side. They were walking around the Sheraton property and get this, the organizers were staying in our hotel!!! This unwillingness to help, call authorities about noise ordinance before 7am weekdays and 9am weekends, the decibel levels completely spoiled our stay. This was within control of the hotel. And bless 'em - no doubt even the wedding of the lovely couple was spoiled! At no point did the hotel manager offer an apology or a refund and we checked in and out at ungodly hours and spent the rest of our time at the wedding - a refund was not the first thing we were thinking of. I would like the manager/GM of the hotel to reach out and offer an apology for not fixing what they could have done and make us right for spending our stay here. We could have stayed a few mins away at any of tens of hotels in this area if we had known. Better value for money, sound sleep, no mental and physical anguish. The lefts/elevators were not enough for such a tall hotel and at least one was out of action in that too. The room was ok - soundproof it was not, amenities were all as you would expect. But the rest, above really spoiled our stay. Again, even when the strikes are not on, it shows that the hotel does not care about guests so I would say, stay away. The attitude was very poor, so I have no confidence that they would fix other things that go wrong. Read less

Do not stay here!!! Unbeknown to us, they have been having strikes at the Hilton for months starting as early as 5 in the morning. It's worse than sharing a wall with a frat house. Do not stay here!!! Unbeknown to us, they have been having strikes at the Hilton for months starting as early as 5 in the morning. It's worse than sharing a wall with a frat house. There is no warning posted on the website and they never said anything at check in. When I asked late afternoon Friday if we could checkout without being charged for Friday evening the manager wouldn't even come out to talk to me and said they would only give me 50% off for one night of my stay. It is now 5am Saturday morning and it has started up again after going well into the evening yesterday. I just called the front desk and asked them to please call the Anaheim police for noise violation and was told I need to call myself. I stay at Marriott properties regularly and have never written a bad review in my life, but the lack of transparency for an ongoing issue is completely unacceptable. I expect more from a Marriott property and will also be contacting the company directly. Read less

The hotel has great facilities, a large clean pool area with whirlpool. We found all members of staff extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms themselves have everything you need in them. We had a huge balcony which was nice to sit out. The beds however are one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept on. The strikes affected us on one our days however I wouldn’t let this put you off staying here. From our experience in this hotel the staff absolutely deserve what they’re asking for. We would definitely stay here again and will make this our hotel of choice when at Disneyland. Have already recommended to friends. Read less

I recently stayed at the Sheraton in Anaheim with my family and I'd like to share my thoughts on the overall experience. The room itself was satisfactory, falling in line with our expectations as Marriott Titanium members. The breakfast offerings were consistent with what we've encountered in recent stays at Sheraton and Marriott properties, offering the usual staples like eggs, oatmeal, toast/bagels, cereal, and a variety of fruits. However, the most unexpected and disheartening aspect of our stay was the early morning disturbance. At the early hour of 6:25 am, protestors gathered on the hotel's private property, specifically in the parking lot. They created a deafening disruption with bugles, drums, and megaphones, persisting for a staggering two hours. What's most concerning is that the protestors were allowed to encircle the entire hotel building, walking on the private property for this extended period. While I have the utmost respect for individuals' rights to express their opinions, it's essential to underscore that these activities were in clear violation of the municipal code, specifically the restriction on loud disturbances before 7:00 am. What was even more disheartening was the response from the hotel staff when we approached them to discuss the issue. Not only did they offer no assistance, but they also defended the protestors' actions. While the right to protest is unquestionable, it is equally important to respect the legal quiet hours outlined by the municipal code. Each person was either blowing on a bugle/horn, pounding a drum, or yelling into a megaphone. It was unbelievably loud and woke up everyone in the building. The fact that the protestors were not only permitted on the Sheraton's private property but also allowed to circumnavigate the entire hotel building while using trumpets, drums, and megaphones, all at 6:30 am, left me deeply disappointed. I couldn't help but wonder if Marriott corporate is aware of these events and whether they condone protestors trespassing on private property and disturbing guests during the legally prescribed quiet hours. This aspect of our stay significantly overshadowed the otherwise pleasant experience at Sheraton Anaheim. Read less
