King bed or 2 queen beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Studio King with Balcony - features a balcony overlooking the city. 

1 King bed sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Valet parking includes in/out privileges - $55 plus tax per night (paid locally, subject to change).

Bar Lis - crafted drinks and light bites. Ka’teen (closed Mondays, open for dinner and brunch at the weekends). The Terrace - serving breakfast and light bites (open until 6pm). Lobby Bar (open evenings).

This hotel has a resort fee of $30 plus tax per room, per day (payable locally, subject to change)

A stay that I anxiously anticipate and one that saddens me when I near the end. Be mindful, the energy and gravitation that this property generates does come with expected sound from live events that result from energizing music and people having a good time. Notable: warmth and hospitality is consistent throughout the entire staff you will engage. Clean well appointed rooms with unique items appreciated by any traveler. The small things make a world of difference bath robes / steamer / slippers / writing desk. Destination to make your friends envious by all of the posts you will make of the property and surrounding beauty of Hollywood. Very few properties impress and please me quite the way only Thompson Hollywood does time and again. Read less

The hotel location and conditions are pretty good. The rooms are are nice as well. The staff needs to be more courteous and welcoming to the guests. May be they are new and need some more training. We were little bit disappointed about few things: 1) We inquired and we were told that the water bottles are complimentary but eventually they charged us which we found out from credit card statements. 2) Order room service food and they delivered it in paper/plastic containers without any plates. Food quality was below average. Uber eats would have been 10 times better. 3) View from the room was below average even though paid for City view room which had little bit higher price than other room category. They could have given a better city view room given less occupancy in the hotel and my Discoverist status. 4) I was hoping to add Bar lis charges to my room but it was not possible. Its not a big deal but I wish they could do it. Read less

I had booked this hotel last year for my daughter and she really liked it so I thought I’d try it out. Although a bit pricey, it was worth it! I love the ambiance and service. Our room was 2 double beds and it was so spacey. I love the many lighting options and it was so comfortable. It was very clean with modern touches. I appreciated the long bench along the wall to put our bags and numerous items on. I enjoyed the walk in shower and loved the scent of the bath products. My only miss was not going up to the top of the hotel for breakfast! And my only complaint is no outlets near the big mirror so I could blow dry my hair while my husband is in the shower. I can’t say much about the West Hollywood area as we explored other neighborhoods. We had to use valet parking which the staff was quick and friendly. Cody at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming. He was helpful with area restaurants to try and just getting to know him and his thoughts on living in LA, very personable and it made us feel at home. I will say the exact same things about Augustine at the lobby bar. We came back early from dinner and decided to have an early night cap so it was just my family and Augustine so we were able to have an enjoyable evening spending time talking with him. Congrats to the Thompson for having a friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere, it’s very much appreciated. Read less

Thompson Hollywood was such a good pick for a weekend in Los Angeles. The staff are all collectively helpful and nice, from the ladies working at the check-in to the the gentleman standing at the door to housekeeping staff. Room was spacious and spotless. Highly recommended and will stay again.
