The hotel

This classy airport hotel is less than a mile from LAX and with a 24-hour complimentary shuttle bus zipping around every half hour, you’re in no danger of missing your flight home! The great thing about LAX is that it is conveniently close to the sea, meaning you can nip down to Playa del Rey or even Venice Beach to enjoy the last few rays of California sunshine before you head back to the UK. The hotel has plenty of facilities to keep you amused too, with a health club featuring a swimming pool and 4 relaxing whirlpools to put you into a nice trance before that 11-hour flight back. Andiamo restaurant is a great option for some delicious Italian cuisine, or The Landings bar can mix your favourite cocktail.

The hotel is a quarter of a mile from Los Angeles airport complex on West Century Boulevard, within 5 miles of both SoFi Stadium and The Forum, and within 20 minutes of beaches and downtown Los Angeles. Transfer time from LAX International Airport: 5 min.

I always enjoy the stay at the LAX Hilton, but this review is mostly for the top tier service we received from Jon at the front desk our last visit. Not only was Jon extra helpful in making the check-in process so seamless, he went above and beyond with the hospitality. It truly sets the tone for the entire stay when the check-in is such a positive experience. The LAX Hilton is always my first choice when staying in the area for many reason. I love the bar, the bartenders are all so wonderful and hospitable, and they have a great liquor selection. I do have one request... PLEASE BRING BACK THE SALMON!!! Maggie in The Cafe is incredible, she is prompt, courteous, and doesn't miss a thing. Runway on 16th is my new favorite spot. This place has great views, excellent service, and I am currently craving the Miso Old Fashioned I tried last week! I wish it were open just a little bit later, even til 9pm. It's near impossible for me to get there by 8:30. I'd be a regular if the hours were extended just a bit! :) Read less

Check-in was a really pleasant and genuine experience! Paola O. helped me plan a time to catch the shuttle in the morning based on my flight time, made sure I had everything I needed, and gave me some quick tips for my Mexico trip. That angel of a woman needs a metal or a raise or both!

Bed bugs!! Don't stay here!!! Stayed in room 9021. Bitten by bed bugs and found the bugs in the bed! Showed the front desk the picture of the bugs and they would not give a refund and even worse, wouldn't agree to disinfect the room. I had an allergic reaction to the bites and had to go to the hospital. Stay away!!

I lost my phone in the uber i reached to the hotel. Bt the security guy ralph helped me to contact the driver and find my phone. I really loved his kindness of helping me out.
