The hotel

This classy airport hotel is less than a mile from LAX and with a 24-hour complimentary shuttle bus zipping around every half hour, you’re in no danger of missing your flight home! The great thing about LAX is that it is conveniently close to the sea, meaning you can nip down to Playa del Rey or even Venice Beach to enjoy the last few rays of California sunshine before you head back to the UK. The hotel has plenty of facilities to keep you amused too, with a health club featuring a swimming pool and 4 relaxing whirlpools to put you into a nice trance before that 11-hour flight back. Andiamo restaurant is a great option for some delicious Italian cuisine, or The Landings bar can mix your favourite cocktail.

The hotel is a quarter of a mile from Los Angeles airport complex on West Century Boulevard, within 5 miles of both SoFi Stadium and The Forum, and within 20 minutes of beaches and downtown Los Angeles. Transfer time from LAX International Airport: 5 min.

I stayed at this Hilton during a 9-hour layover. I used room key in the app, so I never interacted with the front desk staff. After waiting 45 minutes (no typo) for the shuttle (while other brands' shuttles kept coming by several times), I went straight to my room. I stayed at this Hilton during a 9-hour layover. I used room key in the app, so I never interacted with the front desk staff. After waiting 45 minutes (no typo) for the shuttle (while other brands' shuttles kept coming by several times), I went straight to my room. It was at the courtyard level, so the windows were large sliding doors... old doors with single pane glass, so I could hear every plane landing while I was trying to catch up on sleep after my transpacific flight. Room was ok but old, dated and dusty. Shuttle was equally miserable heading back to the terminal, with another 30-minute wait in the lobby. Heading back to terminal 7, shuttle became packed, as it was picking up people on the way who had also been waiting forever for it to show up. I will NOT stay at this property again on my next stay near LAX. Read less

What can I say the stay was totally worth it. Friendly staff very helpful. The people in front desk makes you feel welcomed. Shout to the maintenance guy Johnny who help me with my AC issue very friendly and answered all my questions. I have no complains at all. 10 out 10 stay.

Had a helpful receptionist first of all due to the small problem with the payment with they sorted quickly but I return to enquire about the internet I thought I was entitled to with my company rate I was told I wasn't and was rudely given the free access code but 'just this once!!' A small room on the 9th with king bed, dirty marks on the floor, mirror that finger prints on it and a QR code for tips!! No real view from window Fridge in awkward place in room! Little coffee machine and kettle Small bathroom with a shower that was difficult to turn-on and slow to drain Massively expensive breakfast in restaurant and also café in lobby. Not the usual Hilton experience you'd expect!! Read less

Hugo at the front desk was exceptional during my check in. He was so professional, upbeat and friendly! He took the time to answer all of my questions and advised me on the best route to the airport.
