Great hotel and the cafe in the lobby was amazing. Behzad made the best coffee and was very professional. Behzad went out of his way to make sure we had a great dining experience. Thank you. Very good location

We got ourselves in a tight spot by showing up early without a reservation. The amazing team at the frontdesk found us a room so we were able to check in that very night and be rested for the next day without the hassle of switching hotels. First time back here since the pandemic. Mostly good the room and everything was as I remembered them. Friendly staff throughout from the valet, to the reception desk, the restaurant, housekeeping.... all excellent. So what let me down was that on my second night the hotel next door was hosting an outdoor music event, PEX LA. I had paid extra for a skyline view room but this also meant I was facing this music event that went until 2am, and since it was the night of the time change they got to party for an extra hour. I could hear all the music, thumping bass, it was impossible to sleep. Now I realize this is not the 1 Hotel's fault but I was able to find the Hotel Ziggy's calendar and could see the music events planned and thus I think 1 Hotel has a responsibility to advise guests in the Skyline View rooms of noise when such events are going on. This is just like how hotels often warn you at time of booking if there is construction going on in the area. Other the the noise on my second night this was a good stay. Read less

The cocktail bar near the lobby was beautiful and had excellent cocktails and apps. The spa facilities, while more compact than some, had wonderful treatments and top quality. Theodore at the front desk was particularly helpful. The only thing that was a miss, for us, was Harriet's. It was loud, crowded, and not the vibe represented in marketing platforms. That said, it is West Hollywood so there were more than enough other options nearby. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Read less
