Even the most dedicated urban nomad sometimes needs a place to escape LA – and that’s where Le Parc at Melrose comes in. Squirreled away in a residential road in cool West Hollywood (WeHo to those in the know), this high-design hotel is the perfect sanctuary between sightseeing, shopping, and nights at nearby ‘name-dropping’ haunts like The Viper Room and the Roxy. Every room here’s a suite – and Le Parc at Melrose are ones you’ll never want to leave thanks to the balcony, lounge, kitchenette, fireplace, and complimentary WiFi that comes as standard. (And, because you can order up farm-to-fork favourites from Knoll, the hotel’s upscale bistro, you don’t have to leave it.) If you do want a reminder of the city outside, you can always head up to the Skydeck, with its heated rooftop pool, cabanas, and metropolis-skimming views.

Hotel was wonderful. Front desk staff, Leilany, was friendly and helped us with getting our rooms close together. Always had a smile on her face. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Complementary wine hour was nice. Will definitely be staying again when we visit our family in West Hollywood.

This has been a difficult review for me to write because I consider LeParc At Melrose to be my secret, guilty pleasure. Quite honestly, I didn't want to share it. Staying at LeParc, for me, is a bit like going home. The rooms are perfect, the beds are so very cozy, and the location is central to everything LA has to offer. But the secret is in the staff. The attention paid to detail by the staff, their concern for the privacy and welfare of their guests, challenges any 5 star hotels in the states. Hidden away from the madding crowds of Los Angeles, LeParc at Melrose is, and will likely always be one of my top two, hideaways on the Coast. It is the perfect find for reasonable prices, with impeccable service and accommodations. Oh, and the bonus is that they offer suites with kitchenettes, and are dog friendly. And don't be surprised with the musical theme. You never know who you'll run into on the rooftop bar or tennis court. I LOVE LeParc At Melrose!

Outstanding service, super clean, spacious rooms and great staff, including the facilities engineer, Ramon, who went out of his way to make sure the rooftop pool was warm enough for my early morning swim on a frosty, windy morning. I’m coming back for more!
