The hotel

Even the most dedicated urban nomad sometimes needs a place to escape LA – and that’s where Le Parc at Melrose comes in. Squirreled away in a residential road in cool West Hollywood (WeHo to those in the know), this high-design hotel is the perfect sanctuary between sightseeing, shopping, and nights at nearby ‘name-dropping’ haunts like The Viper Room and the Roxy. Every room here’s a suite – and Le Parc at Melrose are ones you’ll never want to leave thanks to the balcony, lounge, kitchenette, fireplace, and complimentary WiFi that comes as standard. (And, because you can order up farm-to-fork favourites from Knoll, the hotel’s upscale bistro, you don’t have to leave it.) If you do want a reminder of the city outside, you can always head up to the Skydeck, with its heated rooftop pool, cabanas, and metropolis-skimming views.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Le Parc! Firstly, it is situated in a secure and pleasant area, allowing for easy and safe walks to the grocery store and several nice bars. Secondly, the room is spacious, modern, and equipped with all the essentials such as an iron, dryer, shampoo etc. There were 4 of us staying in the king suite (3 adults and a 3y.o.). And we were comfortable there. Additionally, the hotel is located in a quiet area, ensuring peaceful nights without any loud disturbances. The price-to-quality ratio is truly commendable. I would like to express my gratitude to Ceilany and Curtis for their exceptional hospitality and warm welcome. They effortlessly addressed all our requests, contributing to the overall enjoyment of our stay. I highly recommend choosing this hotel for your accommodation! Read less

I had the pleasure of staying at the Le Parc for almost a month while my apartment was being repaired. It was better than home away from home! My room was super spacious! They were all like family- very helpful and friendly. If ever I needed something- it was at my room. Kitchen supplies/ cookware are not in the rooms, but if you ask for them- they are brought up immediately! Each room had a record player and you could borrow albums from the lobby to play in your room. The pool was clean and amazing! They even supplied suntan lotions! My favorite was the complimentary wine hour at the pool daily! I will be back!!! Read less

Overall, I really liked this hotel, though there are a few areas where they can improve. We were here last week for 2 nights and had a comfortable stay. I liked the size of our room and the quiet of the hotel. It's on a quiet street in the middle of everything. Perfect location for our needs. Bed was comfortable. wifi worked well for the work I needed to do. Loved the rooftop pool - my husband spent a lot of time up there while I was working and had a blast. I thought the views were beautiful. Interesting amenity of a tennis court too! The coffee pods they gave us in our room were of a high quality, and the front desk staff were happy to provide refills. Only a few minor nits. First - there was only one remote control for the two tvs. Maybe we were doing something incorrectly, but we couldnt figure out how to actually turn the tv on in the bedroom portion. Worked fine in the living area. Also, they need to be more up front about the on-demand nature of the cleaning service. We didnt find out until the day after we checked in that you had to let them know in advance if you wanted maid service. They should ask for preferences at check in. Valet for overnight is pricey ($65) but standard for the area, and quick and friendly people working the valet, so I guess that is okay. Otherwise, I like the location and the comfort of the rooms here. I'd happily return. Read less

Beautiful decor and rooms, but so so service and low value. The rooms are beautiful and the decor is lovely. The experience is aesthetically so nice. Visually—and location wise—it’s a great experience. But you pay a premium for a pretty mediocre experience otherwise. The service is pretty barebones and surprisingly poor relative to the price tag. A lot of the staff ruled. Other front desk staff seemed decidedly unfriendly and aloof. They have cleaning only by request. While that’s par for the course with boutique hotels. they never replied to the requests. It’s not a big deal—just don’t plan on the rooms being cleaned/refreshed. We’ve rooms a nice, but things didn’t work. Bathroom plugs didn’t work nor did the television. All in all: great looking place, well designed, but the service/value is low relative to price. Read less
