Have been coming to Mondrian since 2015 and are disappointed with how the service and hospitality have gone down words. It used to be the place to be, and honestly, not worth the money you pay for it anymore. The name it used to have as the place to be and the lit pool parties are history. The service starts with the entrance. Nobody is helping you with your luggage or holding the door. The few old staff try their best but are not able to set the tone. It shows the leaking of proper management and experience. At the pool, one few member does their best. The rest are super unfriendly and definitely looking down at people. If you want people to feel at home, a smile would help and definitely make sure to not be understaffed. The feeling it gives me is of old glory, and that makes me sad since it has the potential to be an awesome place to be still. I was always super excited to go to Mondrian, but for me, my 3 weeks at mondrian turned out a disappointment. Memorial day and no special events or anything for mothers Day either. Rosé all day is not an event. It used to be dj and events. Now, it feels like a senior complex. Read less

Pros: Pool, lobby and restaurant are nice. Miriam at the waterfront restaurant was so wonderful and the food was great. A nice way to spend an afternoon. Prosecco at check-in (you have to ask for it) is a nice touch. Cons: Hotel room could use some repairs. The couch, carpets and walls had stains on it. Prosecco at check-in (you have to ask for it) is a nice touch. Cons: Hotel room could use some repairs. The couch, carpets and walls had stains on it. There were a few rowdy groups including a woman who stormed out of the elevator chasing her friend after a disagreement in the lobby. A lot of the general areas smell like weed and abercrombie cologne. I would not recommend this hotel for a family or a relaxed weekend but I would recommend spending a lovely afternoon by the pool and bar. Read less

Comfortable bed. Large rooms. Cold AC. Dinner at restaurant was really good. Hotel is decently loud. Around 3AM there was a group of girls fighting at the elevators. It only lasted 20 mins or so but I’m sure if you’re looking for a quiet hotel, this one would not be your first stop.
