This review is long overdue for Sheevani at the Front Desk of Monterey Tides. I made multiple visits to this hotel while planning a wedding at the beach and Sheevani at the front desk was always a pleasure to work with and answered all questions patiently. She is well informed, professional with excellent customer service skills.

Very nice amenities with fireplaces and beach access. Food was excellent. Parking was $40 extra per day, be careful of hidden costs like resort fees etc...

The room wasn’t ready till after 530 and we expected an early check-in The window in our room was cloudy very foggy swirl marks not A good view of the ocean, which you pay considerably for. We asked for the windows to be cleaned and the beds to be changed. I went down to the service desk and requested it in person because they would not pick up… Read more
The room wasn’t ready till after 530 and we expected an early check-in The window in our room was cloudy very foggy swirl marks not A good view of the ocean, which you pay considerably for. We asked for the windows to be cleaned and the beds to be changed. I went down to the service desk and requested it in person because they would not pick up the phone and it never happened. They gave me a late check out for my troubles and the key would not allow us back in the room at a set time nowhere near our late check out so we left after speaking with the manager and he assured me, even though there was construction going on that there is no reason the service wasn’t better and he would take care of it . I haven’t heard from him or the hotel I guess that’s how they fix things you go home and it goes away. Read less

I wish we had looked on Yelp and not just Expedia. Rude staff, issues with the facility, noise, etc.

Beautifully decorated with so many great details. Super clean. Great beach with lots of seating inside and outside to enjoy the views. Fantastic bar. Gorgeous restaurant with delicious food. I loved everything about this place!
