Deluxe Ocean View King Rooms are larger, on the first floor, with an ocean view sitting area, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

"Motel" would be a more accurate description for this place. The "standard" room we got only has a parking garage view, with a smaller room you would expect in California and a loud AC. I can't believe it's a Tribute Portfolio hotel and that I spent 85k points on this. No hot tub. One of the only 3 EV chargers not working. Room key not working.… Read more

I can't believe it's a Tribute Portfolio hotel and that I spent 85k points on this. No hot tub. One of the only 3 EV chargers not working. Room key not working. There's really no amenities. Bathroom smaller than an airplane lavatory and the shower overflows. Upon checking my credit card, I found that I was secretly charged $73.97 for the stay. I did not use any service or buy anything during the stay. The bill was not sent via email or ready to be viewed the Marriott app after about a week. This is fraud. For people reading this, don't waste your money here. You deserve better hotels. Read less

Terrible lady in morning clueless about the breakfast and what is going on , she needs lot more training and a attitude adjustment and her front desk supervisor was as clueless , bad attitude, no spoons for parfait, no coffee cups, no sugar .. wtf she still sleeping?

I have been a Marriott Bonvoy member for some time and have never had a bad experience - until now. This is by far the most disorganized and poorly managed hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Rooms were not ready, rooms booked together were on polar opposite sides of the property, wrong number of beds, keys did not work. What was intended to be a relaxing night to recharge was instead full of stress and annoyance. I wish I had spent the extra money to stay at the Clement or the Monterey Plaza. Read less

The experience was one for the books. To walk out your door and see the ocean and just walk out on the beach to dip your toes in the sand and waves was AMAZING! The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the front door. Definitely will be going back.
