Portola Rooms are located throughout the hotel and have 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

We really enjoyed this spot and all the nearby amenities. The rooms were spacious and we enjoyed the connected patio. There are a lot of nearby restaurants at your disposal which was convenient for our family with 3 littles. Service was great, not excellent but our needs were met.

The Portola is located within walking distance of so many attractions, dog friendly and great service. We will return to visit ! This is our go to place when we visit Monterey !

The location of the Portola allows us to walk to the wharf, walk downtown, walk to Dennis the Menace Park, catch the trolley to Cannery Row (or walk the trail over), walk to where we wanted to eat, or walk over to the paddle boats. My BFF and I celebrate our milestone birthdays and were warmly welcomed by Alexis. He provided us with exceptional service. Arturo and Nema were awesome, too. We had an enjoyable time at the Portola Hotel & Spa and look forward to staying there again!
