153 rooms and suites. All with air -conditioning, flat-screen TV, mini-bar*, hairdryer, bathrobes and iron and board. Standard Rooms have either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

4 Saints (seasonal food, open for brunch and dinner). Juniper Table (all day menu, open from 7:00am-9:00pm). 2 bars (drinks and light snacks). Rooftop pool. Fully equipped on-site fitness centre. There is a daily resort fee of $40 plus tax per room (payable locally, fee subject to change).

Pool bar service non existent. Sat 15 minutes not even acknowledged at pool bar.....Left. Not the first time. This Hotel needs to get their act together. Not an asset to Palm Springs at this point. Local population not impressed with the service at this Hotel. Beautiful building.......😀

Have wanted to visit this property for years and finally made it happen. Ahmed and Luke at the front desk made our first stay so nice. Very accommodating, helpful, and friendly--the reason why I am loyal to Kimpton. The property is in the center of everything. You're surrounded by the Art Museum, bars, restaurants, and shops. There are sculptures and murals everywhere. Grab a complimentary bike or walk to explore. The city is fabulous no doubt. The lobby is grand and the furniture and decor even better. Modernism is alive in Palm Springs. Check in was easy with Luke. We valeted the car (I believe the only option). Our room was a spa suite and had a large bathroom with a soaking tub, a living area, and a bedroom. Low floor looking at a roof ledge, but if I looked beyond that I could enjoy the mountains, palm trees, and sunset. Great blackout blinds plus sheers ensured a good nights sleep. Kimpton has a great amenity program if you forget any toiletries. Andrew, at the Window Bar is incredibly well versed in cocktails. He was a wealth of information. They offer a happy hour at this beautiful bar inside the hotel. If you don't want complimentary wine or beer from 4-5 at the Rowan you can order a variety of wines, beers, and cocktails here instead. The rooftop pool is lovely. Heated water, tons of seating (cabanas are for rent). They provide Sun Bum sunscreen and cold water up there, so enjoy. The bar was open though we didn't indulge. Four restaurants are onsite and we enjoyed Juniper Table for breakfast daily. Free coffee and tea are offered in the lobby for several hours in the morning. Afternoon snacks prior to wine hour. This hotel is just sumptuous. From the valet which was top notch and 24/7 to the front desk who was more than accommodating to the lobby bar and Andrew....everything was over the top. This hotel is just sumptuous. From the valet which was top notch and 24/7 to the front desk who was more than accommodating to the lobby bar and Andrew....everything was over the top. They accommodated this IHG Platinum elite member in all the right ways. My review of the Juniper Table is separate as I found it exactly the opposite of the hotel. The room was well appointed and came with a white noise machine built-in. The furnishing were in the mid-century vein but so much more. The room design was outstanding. We immediately felt at home and even commented that if this were a condo building, we'd move in as it mimics our home in DC. Just stay here. It's in the middle of downtown and easy in and out with ways to avoid Main Street traffic to get around. The pool was wonderful and the staff at the pool bar so nice. The upstairs bar at the upstairs restaurant was closing and not helpful....but it was 15 minutes to closing time. We accepted that and turned it into a win at the lobby bar sitting in front of the fireplace for a nightcap. Read less

The Rowan met every expectation for a relaxing 3-night stay in Palm Springs. The location is central to everything in Palm Springs with fantastic views of the mountain. The staff was attentive and engaging with every experience, from the Valet staff out front, the Front Desk staff at check-in, to the bartender at the pool bar. Jose Orozco, the Front Desk Manager, went out of his way to accommodate my needs and ensure that I had an amazing stay. I had a great room on the 4th floor with a balcony and a great view of the mountains. The rooftop pool is the perfect space to relax with outstanding food and beverage service. The pool deck is also the perfect place to watch the sun rise over the desert. Morning coffee service in the lobby makes getting out of bed for that first cup all too easy. The Rowan is one of the more expensive hotels in Palm Springs, but it was every bit worth the spend for a relaxing three days. General Manager Peggy Trott leads a great staff who make you feel special. I would definitely return to The Rowan on my next Palm Springs visit. Read less

I don't even know where to start. We checked in and all was going well. Our room was beautiful. Later that night upon returning to our room as we removed the comforter we found not one but two BED BUGS which we captured on camera. We also placed glass cups on the BED Bugs to show the hotel. What followed was a absolute failure on the handling of the situation by Management. Since it was late the person at the front desk did what she could to get us into another room. We wanted to leave but we were unable since the city had an event going on and all hotels were booked. They moved us to another floor. The next day not a peep from management. It wasn't till we approached them later in the afternoon and explained what happened. The Manager, Gill said "Oh yes we were about to call you" that was just unacceptable. He claimed that the Head of Housekeeping determined is was a "critter" and that the it was nothing to be concerned. The offered a $200 discount. We paid close to $900 a night staying for 3 night! Completely unacceptable and they would not budge. We call the local health department and environment control and none had been contacted of the bed bug issue. Which is required by law to report. The head of house keeping is not an entomologist to make sure determination. The manger lacked professional training and treated us rudely and a complete disregard for how it was so inconvenient for us to have to move to another room and not provide us with the proper compensation. I have stayed in many 5 star resorts and never have i experience such poor management and poor customer service skills by staff especially the Manager! I would never stay there again and I would not recommend it for anyone else to stay there. They have BED BUGS and will not do a thing about it. You all been warned!! Read less
