Directly on the beach, just south of the quaint downtown area of Pismo Beach and the pier. Just off Highway 1.

Hotel information

50 guest rooms. All with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, 37” flat-screen TV with premium channels, WiFi, fireplace, fridge, deep soak bath and Keurig coffee maker. Fireplace King offer skylights for natural light and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Spa Deluxe Rooms have a hot tub on a private balcony with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Double Double Rooms have a hot tub on a private balcony, they are suitable for families with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Full Ocean View Rooms offer a hot tub on a private balcony with a view of the sunset on Pismo Beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

SeaVenture Restaurant (contemporary Californian coastal cuisine; open all week for dinner with late lunch at the weekend and breakfasts served on Sundays), Seaventure Bar. Pismo Beach Massage Centre* (Swedish, aromatherapy, deep tissue and express massages as well as scrubs, wraps and facials). Non-motorised water sports* including kayaking, fishing, surfing, body boarding and sailing. Hiking, wine estates and national park tours available nearby. Self-parking available*.

There is a daily resort fee of $35 plus tax per room (payable locally, fee subject to change).

Had everything you needed for a great stay including robes, coffee maker, fireplace and large flat screen! Gotta say the bed was very comfy and pillows were too. I’m picky about my pillows;) You can walk straight out onto the sand to enjoy the endless beach or down the sidewalk to the pier area. If you can’t bear to leave view and your room, you can watch surfers, whales and seagulls from your balcony while enjoying a delicious croissant sandwich they delivert, along with a great Bloody Mary! Sea Venture is one of our favorite places to stay for a quick get-away. The rooms are clean and very attractively decorated. The bed comfy. Hot tubs are divine! We always have dinner in the hotel restaurant, and this time it was the best it has ever been. We got the Lava Cake for dessert as it was my husband's birthday. This time (and because of the full moon) there was an extremely low tide. It was such fun walking way out in the sand, watching the gulls dropping clams so they would crack open and they could eat them. we definitely recommend this place! Read less

Very friendly staff and great customer service I have ever received in a hotel. I received a text after check in stating I could text any questions throughout my stay 24 hrs a day. My husband & I vacationed in Pismo Beach for three days and after searching almost every hotel on the beach we chose SeaVenture. Upon check-in the staff greeted us with smiles and we’re extremely helpful, we booked our room a few weeks in advance and chose an ocean view room, with a jacuzzi. We stayed in room #243 which had an amazing view, and was so incredibly peaceful! There are no rooms above or below you, which was so nice. The hotel room was a bit smaller than we had anticipated, but the view more than made up for it, it was clean but it some of the basic maintenance was lacking. The fan in the bathroom was broke, the area rug needed to be changed out (it was horrible) and the tile in the bathroom was stained and looked old. The ceiling fan worked, but we needed to “kick start” it. But, the staff was absolutely amazing and they made our stay wonderful! Every time we came into the lobby, the staff greeted us with a smile and a “Hello!” We had a beautifully relaxing vacation and did not want to leave! We will definitely be back to stay at SeaVenture!
