The pillows, duvet and bed comforter were superb. The mattress was a quality, firm mattress. I slept like a baby! Food was absolutely outstanding and reasonably priced for a beachfront resort. I ate all but one meal at the resort because the food was so convenient and excellent. My only suggestion is even though the resort is exceptionally clean, someone on a more regular basis needs to pay attention to the pool area from noon to 4pm to open up all the umbrellas, pick up used towels, empty cocktail glasses and food plates that guests have left behind at the pool area. Unfortunately many people on vacation do not pick up after themselves when they vacate the pool area. Everyday all the lounge chairs appeared to be taken by 1pm because most guests just walked away and left their towels on the chaise lounge rather than properly dispose of their used towels. (Having towel bins near the exit gates may help). Suggestion: Poolside lounge chairs with used towels on them should be cleared off every two hours especially since the pool area and amount of chaise lounges and chairs is somewhat limited. Of course, the guests would need to be forewarned in writing that after 2 hours of abandoning their poolside spot, their towels etc would be cleared out by a poolside attendant. I have recently seen this procedure put into practice at some other high end resorts. Everything else was great and this is truly a five star resort. Read less

Taj at the front desk and Lisa at the restaurant made an otherwise mediocre hotel stay an amazing one. The rest are table stakes: great location, great walkable shops, and some noteable restaurants like Splash Cafe and Old West Cinnamon Rolls

Was so pleasantly surprised by this resort! Rooms are well appointed and large. The bar offered a happy hour which rarely happens at resorts. Steps away from the beach and the Pismo boardwalk. Will definitely come back! For Marriott elite members, a $15/person credit was available at the hotel restaurant which was helpful.

Nice overall experience. Great property, good service. Nice room amenities. The one piece of feedback would be to have more servers and bartenders for the lawn area. It took too long to get a drink. Everything else was great. It’s our first time in Pismo Beach. We will be back.

Vespera is in a fantastic location with premium service and amenities. We loved our rooms, the food, the live music and the kind service. We had quality family time outside in the comfy chill zones whether we were playing games or enjoying the fire pits. We could walk anywhere. Highly recommend!
