This Polynesian-themed tropical hideaway sits directly on the sparkling shores of Mission Bay and offers casual elegance with palm trees, lush vegetation, koi ponds and waterfalls. 310 rooms, studios and suites. All with air-conditioning, balcony or patio, TV, complimentary WiFi, iHome docking station, safe, Keurig® coffee maker, small fridge, hairdryer, and iron and board. Standard Rooms with either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Studio Rooms are located in the tower and offer views of Mission Bay and downtown San Diego or Pacific Beach. They also feature a dining area, and private balcony, with 2 queen-size beds and a sofabed, sleeiping maximum 6 adults.

Suites offer direct access to Mission Bay's beach and boardwalk. They also feature a separate living area with pull-out sofa, dining room and balcony or patio, with either 1 king-size or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Oceana Coastal Kitchen (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Moray's (open for lunch and dinner). Sunday Champgane brunch also available at Oceana Coastal Kitchen. Swimming pool and whirlpool. Spa*. Fitness centre. Seasonal Yoga*. Action Sport Rentals* (paddleboards, sailboats, kayaks, surfboards, bicycles, segways). Games arcade. Room service*. Our families had 3 Garden View Suites that were very clean, comfortable and the wonderful view of the tropical gardens. Our families had 3 Garden View Suites that were very clean, comfortable and the wonderful view of the tropical gardens. Our grandkids loved the exotic birds and the show, the ducks (and baby ducks) and Koi fish along with the bay beach and pool. The bayside bonfire with S’mores and the Luau put a final touch to a wonderful family vacation! Read less

The resort is beautiful but the room we had in the tower needed updated. The customer service was not real good. We checked in on Friday evening & went down to dinner. The 3 of us stood in front of the podium where 3 employees were and waited & waited. Not one of them looked up or acknowledged our existence. It wasn't until 5/6 minutes later… Read more
The resort is beautiful but the room we had in the tower needed updated. The customer service was not real good. We checked in on Friday evening & went down to dinner. The 3 of us stood in front of the podium where 3 employees were and waited & waited. Not one of them looked up or acknowledged our existence. It wasn't until 5/6 minutes later another group walked in & they immediately spoke to them while we just stood there right by the podium. It was a minute later before one of the girls actually said, “what do you want?” - Um to eat! I said. They seated us inside as no tables available outside. The next day we went back to eat there & were told there were not any tables available outside & there would be a long wait. It was suggested to eat in the bar. Again took awhile before anyone asked us what we wanted. When we were done eating, we noticed there were still the same free tables that no one ever sat in that we had asked to sit at prior to eating in the bar. Next evening we tried again & were asked if we made reservations. We said we were never told we had to make a reservation to eat there? No one person from the front desk when checking in until just then told us this. Again they suggested the bar. Two of us got our food & the 3rd person in our group got hers about 25 minutes later after she asked where her food was. We stayed there almost a week & spent more than a few thousand dollars to stay there, not including the food or Luau (Luau was good). Won’t stay there again.
