Booked this hotel with a lot of anxiety. It was listed with a great price and I was not familiar at all with San Diego and locations, but this really worked out for us. It is a great hotel for families on a budget. The rooms were updated. We were there in June. The pool was clean and fun. The Tiki bar was quaint and fun-great bartender.… Read more

Hotel itself is in a great location. Staff was great and helpful. Simple hotel. Needs some TLC but worth the cost. The pool area needs some in upkeep. Room was clean. Slight musky smell but overall clean. I've stayed here before with my family and I'd probably return.

The room was large, comfortable and acceptible. It is out dated and the corner (i/2 of a suite) seemed OK but the lights kept going out as fast as it came on. Probablt a CA thing but you are trapped in a 5 by 5 foyer and I had to use my cell phone light to see where I was. Out dated and I found no elevator to the second floor. No breakfast but… Read more

I received wonderful customer service at the front desk, especially for the fact I arrived middle of the night. As for the room quality, bed was large and moderately comfortable. The bathroom was quite dingy and outdated, hallways to the room were quite old school and sketchy as well. I didn’t quite like the parking set up and the views of the… Read more

The bathroom was quite dingy and outdated, hallways to the room were quite old school and sketchy as well. I didn’t quite like the parking set up and the views of the window facing directly at the parking lot but at least I could see my car! I will probably not visit again, but it was enjoyable for the most part because of its convenient service. Read less

Stayed at this hotel while attending a conference. Every single one of the staff we interacted with were fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, polite and professional. From the bartender who was willing to mix a drink not on the menu, to the shuttle drive who offered great advice, funny conversation, shopping and safety tips, to the gentleman in the ticket location who sold us fantastic seats to the NCAA March Madness as well as providing transportation and safety information , to the concierge who helped us get around and offered great suggestions for dining and sight seeing options, who arranged the shuttle for us, and stored our luggage after we checked out, to the friendly and efficient staff at the front desk - our experience here was fantastic. The hotel was spacious and clean, and the pool area lovely. Would definitely stay here again! Read less
