Very underwhelming and disappointing. The room was dirty and dusty, the bathroom counter and mirror were dirty. There are better options in the area. Had booked through a third party and was informed remainder of payment would be due at check in. Nearly a month prior to my trip my card was charged for the room. At check in they had lost our payment (said it was declined) and refused to help remedy the situation, but rather forced us to pay in full a second time with another card. We were double… Read more
Had booked through a third party and was informed remainder of payment would be due at check in. Nearly a month prior to my trip my card was charged for the room. At check in they had lost our payment (said it was declined) and refused to help remedy the situation, but rather forced us to pay in full a second time with another card. We were double charged for our room without a second thought or care from the staff. After I had to seek out management to discuss they magically found my initial payment and offered a refund to the card used at check-in. We were told this would happen within 24 hours, however, 6 days later this still has not been received. The checkout experience was just as poor with a condescending attitude from the staff person and refusal to give me a receipt. I will never stay at another Hard Rock and strongly recommend against anyone else from staying at one either. Read less

Worst hard I’ve ever been too, everything was close staff was rude. Will not stay here again. Security was really rude to be honest. Bathroom soap bottles were empty. Worse experience staying at an hard rock.

Perfect location for attending a conference at the convention center. Just roll out of bed and you're there. Would be hard to make it to a 7:30 meeting otherwise. Fitness center was small but very nicely equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, kettlebells, and a few weight machines.

I stayed on the fourth floor (412), which was right across from the elevator. The Hard Rock is right next to the Gaslamp Quarter with all the bars and restaurants. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I would stay here again for sure, especially for vacation. Couldn't ask for a better location.
