This Hyatt fell below our expectations and thankfully we were only there for a one night stay. For almost $500.00 I would expect that the air conditioner would cool the room to a temperature below 80° and water not leak on to the floor when showering. The issues began at check-in when we were told that our room was ready but just needed to be cleared by housekeeping before we could get our key. As a result, we waited in our vehicle with two dogs for over an hour during the recent heatwave. My husband had to go to the front desk several times before someone finally cleared the room. The cherry on top was the flippant attitude of a front desk employee who told him, “Well, check-in isn’t until 4 pm.” And in addition, “The app doesn’t always work” when we told her that we selected early arrival on the app. Overall, the attitude and hot room was not worth $500.00. Comfortable quality stay. I had a comfortable time, very easy to get in and out of hotel. Nice views and ambiance. Staff very considerate and friendly.
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great Location - Go to the Beach, Not the Pool

Great location, Friendly staff. The breakfast location was a pretty good value (if included with room rate). Great location, Friendly staff. The breakfast location was a pretty good value (if included with room rate). The property has several buildings and is spread out a little bit in a "Resort Style" feel. So its open but some might find it too far apart. The coffee shop, for instance, is walk outside of the main building and down the boardwalk a little bit, the gym is also in its own location down the boardwalk. If the weather is great, this might not be a bad thing. But colder months with poorer weather could be an issue. The pool is too small. This property attracts families and has many amenities and activities that lean in that direction. Therefore the pool was filled with families with lots of children. For the most part, they were behaved on our visits but it is 100% not conducive to relaxation. We wished there was clearly defined adult hours or an adult only retreat. Even the poolside bar/restaurant often had dripping wet children going in and out for drinks. We are happy that families feel welcome here, just wish that we could feel as welcome ourselves. Location is great. Easy uber/drive to the beach and not too too far from downtown. The nearby marina has a few options as far food and attractions. Charli's Landing is an awesome little bar and grill with great bang for your buck. Read less

Great location close to a lot of lovely beaches, parks, food, and playgrounds for the kiddos. Plus SeaWorld of course. Waterslides were great, though it seemed like only one pool was heated, and still a bit chilly thanks to the ocean breeze. Great location close to a lot of lovely beaches, parks, food, and playgrounds for the kiddos. Plus SeaWorld of course. Waterslides were great, though it seemed like only one pool was heated, and still a bit chilly thanks to the ocean breeze. Nice gym, and would've tried out the complimentary kayaking or SUP rental but just didn't get to it! A small but nice little rec area with some table games. All the staff were friendly and helpful! We stayed on points and were booked into an accessible room in one of the villa type buildings. No real complaints, the bathroom sink had a draining issue but the room was nice and clean otherwise. It was quiet and we slept great! Two things that are probably the most mentioned cons of this property: 1. Parking is $50/night. I'm not against paying for parking but that is just too much. You cannot park overnight on the street, so we just took our car to the Old Town park n ride and rode the #8 bus back each night. There is a bus stop just about right outside the hotel on the main street. Then took the bus back in the morning and brought our car back to park on the street. Never had an issue finding a spot. $2.50 bus fare and maybe 30mins total vs $50/night...we decided the hassle was worth it since we didn't have a packed itinerary. If you're staying several nights and don't mind the pilgrimage, save yourself a couple hundred bucks. 2. Pool towel charges: you will be charged for not returning your pool towels to the machine the SAME DAY you take them out. There is a tracking device in the tag. Take the 5 mins to return your towels and you'll be good. If you know about these two things ahead of time and make sure you plan accordingly, I think you'll have a great stay. Read less

Really poor breakfast experience. Food took over an hour to arrive and avocado toast was so cold and under ripe in was not edible. Parking was frustrating due to malfunctioning gate for 2 days straight. Bar and Pool experience were great! Suite was large and adequate.
