2nd visit here as Globalist. Resort fee and valet parking waived as expected. Bohemian suite is amazing. We used a suite night upgrade to a lesser suite, but paid a bit more to get the Bohemian. This was a family get together and the extra space worked great. If you stay here try to enjoy the Sunday Brunch. It's mostly covered by the $40 per… Read more

This was a family get together and the extra space worked great. If you stay here try to enjoy the Sunday Brunch. It's mostly covered by the $40 per person breakfast credit. Food at Pipers was outstanding. Try some of their appetizers for dinner. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the staff bend over backwards to take care of any issues. Fabulous location just across the street from the beach and you can hear the waves crashing. Read less

Understanding this was California and beachfront, the price was a bit high to me. The problem was there is a train that is VERY close; which can be convenient, but not convenient when you are trying to sleep. Let's just say, if I am paying $500 a night, I do expect just a little better.

It was refreshing to see such happy employees. The kids had the BEST time at the pools and enjoyed the movie night so much. I worked from the balcony overlooking the ocean everyday and took in every moment there. I had the best experience and cant wait to share with my friends and family. Looking forward to our next trip there already. Read less

Beautiful property. Clean, upscale. Staff very friendly and efficient. Close proximity to everything. You can easily park your car ($47/day) and never need it during your stay. Room luxurious. Good bed, toiletries. A bit of form over function (i.e. one nightstand has no drawers or shelves - but looks nice) Nice touch having filtered water tap… Read more

Good bed, toiletries. A bit of form over function (i.e. one nightstand has no drawers or shelves - but looks nice) Nice touch having filtered water tap by the ice machine to fill water bottles. Bad water pressure in sink. Wonderful shower and toiletries. Amex plan gives you $80 for breakfast at restaurant in hotel next door. $85 bought 2 orange juice, one avocado toast and a crab cake Benedict. Pricey but good. The one thing that lost one star is beyond the hotel’s control. There is a public amphitheater about 150 yards away, across the street. Friday night there was a religious revival that blasted for 4 hours. Then, at 7am we were awakened by incessant drumbeats and rap music as an exercise boot-camp took over. 6 hours later and it is still blasting. It completely negates the usefulness (and price) of booking an oceanfront room. We still like the property, but will never come back on a weekend. You’ve been warned. Read less
