Very very very sad and disappointed with this hotel. Accessibility elevator did not work, neither did the pool. The hotel offered some relaxation of hotel fees after we complained since we couldn’t get our stroller up and down, or get a bell person to support us. Very very very sad and disappointed with this hotel. Accessibility elevator did not work, neither did the pool. The hotel offered some relaxation of hotel fees after we complained since we couldn’t get our stroller up and down, or get a bell person to support us. We drove all the way from Canada, kids cried that pool was closed without proper notice. It’s not always about the money, when you come to San Francisco Hyatt there is an expectation. You pay for it. This was our second choice as we cancelled the first booking in a Union Square hotel due to the shady scary area. It is a great hotel. Located in a good safe area. Had an oversized room and it was great. The hotel is a little dated and worn - scratched furniture and scuffed woodwork but it is absolutely spotless ! There is a launderette which was helpful. The staff are polite and helpful. The only negative is the breakfast which is grossly overpriced and very poorly presented. Would absolutely recommend. Read less

Location is walking distance from all-things-touristy from Pier 39 to Crissy Field. The block around the hotel was smelly and corners littered with waste from homeless camp. It is an unfortunate state but reality of the city. Just too real to explain to a child.
