I really enjoy this hotel. I have stayed here many times and I plan to return. It is in an excellent location, near everything and it's in a safer, cleaner, and quieter area. I often request a inner courtyard facing room as it is extra quiet that way, but there are some very nice rooms with views if you prefer that. It is near some very fancy expensive hotels, but it is a reasonable price for the area. If you are not familiar with San Francisco, be advised that it is at the top of a steep hill, but that also allows for great views. They offer complementary morning coffee which I am very happy about. Read less

We stayed two nights at Stanford Court Hotel. The location on top of Nob Hill was perfect—good views, and easy to access as we visited friends in Marina, Pac Heights, and to walk to Union Sq to catch the muni train to Giants game. Hotel room very comfortable with a ton of space, high quality bed, large bathroom with separate toilet/shower room. Our “Bay View” from rm 539 was partial bay and city view, including Transamerica Bldg and Salesforce tower. Great combo, although not what one might expect/want if a full bay view is a priority. The room was clean, quiet and very little wear and tear. We did not use amenities like the gym or bikes, which makes the daily fee a poor value for us. We checked bags with the bellman for 6 hours after checkout, which worked out great. The neighborhood felt safe and we didn’t see unhoused people or open drug use in the direct area, as one sees in some neighborhoods. Recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Read less

Easy walk to Chinatown, Union Square, and across the street from the Tonga Room, stylish ambience, great bartenders and food. Stayed on the 7th floor, Powell St side and the view was spectacular! Fitness center was well equipped including Peloton bikes. Would definitely stay again.

The cashier, Shirley, was friendly and efficient, and she even remembered our breakfast order from day to day. Busser May was also excellent. Very happy overall with the service and will heartily recommend the Stanford to family and friends.
