Well, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA available on AirBnB. We had a great stay and were upgraded to a room on the 29th floor with a sofa. We would stay there again. Beware, parking is NOT complimentary and is relatively expensive. Read less

Nice hotel but on the pricey side especially when you add in the parking fee at 75 $ a day for a downtown I was surprised that mostly everything closed are 9pm

This is a category 5 hotel for Hyatt, but I would put it more in the category 4 Pros -room is clean and new (despite it being very bare and no frills) -I requested toothpaste and it came very quickly -room came with a $15 credit at the coffee shop in the lobby that you can use to buy snacks Cons -did not offer me a standard suite upgrade even though I checked that it was available. When I did ask, the response I got was there is another globalist staying in the room and it won’t be available til the 4 pm late checkout. Find this extremely disingenuous as it was showing availability online -lobby is very noisy with lots of teenagers hanging around and playing pool with loud music -lounge is nicely decorated and much quieter and calmer than the lobby , but there was not a lot of drinks /food (the only food in the evening was a small tray of pizza) so I would not recommend paying for it for those who are not globalists -didn’t have time to try the breakfast but the person at the checkin told me the globalist bfast only include the buffet and not the a la carte items ?!?
