The hotel

This boutique-style hotel comes with a unique attraction – a world-famous nightlife venue. Named one of ‘The World’s Hottest Nightclubs’ by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine in its opening year, Infusion Lounge is a high-tech, high-energy venue that promises what it calls a 4D experience: a place to ‘dine, drink, dance, dream’. The club, with its world-class DJs and sleek décor, doubles up as an upscale restaurant, with a sophisticated Asian-inspired menu. While Hotel Fusion’s well-appointed guestrooms feature warm décor, inspired by an East meets West concept, in honour of the city’s multicultural make up and the hotel’s name. And it’s all just seconds from the renowned shopping and dining of Union Square.

I am completely disgusted in my room.Toenail and hair found in the bathroom and blood in my spare blanket. Apparently they cannot even be bothered to keep such small dorm like rooms clean. I will not be trying any food, drinks or ice in this building based on the cleanliness of the rooms. Also have mention the walls and floors are so old and thin… Read more

Also have mention the walls and floors are so old and thin I can hearing my neigherbors from all sides. Front desk staff is the only redeemable quality. Do not let the “boutique” lobby fool you, it’s a run down less than basic SF hotel. Read less

I spent a couple nights here during a short trip to San Francisco and it was a great stay. Room was clean and everything worked fine. The walls were pretty thin but it was otherwise fine. Weirdly there was no microwave in the room but I didnt need one. Staff was friendly, it was easy to walk to, and I loved the giant stuffed bear in the lobby.

Stayed here one night, it is your average San Francisco hotel. We arrived early and were worried about our luggage. The hotel allowed us to check in early which was great. We were on a upper floor at the end of the hall with a view of a brick wall. The room was clean and small but I was not there to sit in a room. The pictures are very misleading, there is NO bar or restaurant on the location. They really need to take down the photos because I don't think they have any intention of opening them back up. Staff was friendly. They have a sitting area with a couple tables on the corner of the building. Great if you like to people watch. Also a great place to eat since the room is to small for that. Overall, the hotel is nice, great location, clean I would stay here again. Read less

Was really handy for getting of the train front the airport. Someone local warned us about the street but it was fine. Room a bit dated but spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and help. There was no hairdryer in the room but one was delivered in a couple of minutes. The only thing I missed was a bedside table just to put my phone, jewellery and… Read more

There was no hairdryer in the room but one was delivered in a couple of minutes. The only thing I missed was a bedside table just to put my phone, jewellery and magazine on.A minor detail and we had booked a hop on bus for two days so we used it like a taxi and got it from the Hilton round the corner. Great Indian and Chinese restaurant s with a stones throw from the hotel. Comfy bed as well. Read less

Yikes! Paper thin walls... To the point where we could hear normal volume conversations in adjacent rooms. Also, we were facing the street and heard music from a restaurant/bar until 11:00pm. An interior room would have been better. We called about switching rooms but were told there wasn't one in the interior available. There were bed bug traps… Read more
Yikes! Paper thin walls... To the point where we could hear normal volume conversations in adjacent rooms. Also, we were facing the street and heard music from a restaurant/bar until 11:00pm. An interior room would have been better. We called about switching rooms but were told there wasn't one in the interior available. There were bed bug traps on the mattress protector zippers. Maybe it's comforting that they're keeping an eye out? I found it to be disgusting and tacky to come across them. I usually do a quick check when I get into hotel rooms and was shocked to see them. Our mattress protectors had major black sharpe markings. There was actual writing in sharpe (room numbers and smiley faces?), so I didn't think it was bedbug frass. Our room smelled clean, and was decently clean, but there were a few spots overlooked and dirty. ... Example: above the door in the bathroom was covered in hair. Everyone in our group whacked their leg or toe on the beds/furniture at least once. One managed to ding up their shin really good. The rooms are extremely cramped and the bed frames are low to the ground and bulky. Watch out, they'll get ya! No desk or work space in any of the rooms we occupied, but I honestly don't know where they'd go! The lobby was very classy, but the bar/restaurant/etc. weren't open. We were told they've been closed since Covid. The valet drivers were extremely kind. Plan on waiting around 20 minutes to have your car brought up though... One way streets and traffic are the culprit. Staff was very helpful on restaurant recommendations. Tad's was a hit for dinner. This part of SF has been overtaken by homeless. It's rough. Our group stayed here after a Giants day game and walked to the hotel... It was 1.5 miles. Easy walk, but I wouldn't want to do it after dark or without a group of people during the day. We weren't threatened, but were awkwardly approached several times on the walk and very close to the hotel. We'll look elsewhere next time. Lots of red flags in the reviews that we should have heeded. Read less
