Retreat to this stylish hotel in a residential pocket of Santa Monica, yet just a shell's throw from the beach and Third Street Promenade. The Huntley is both classy and playful, with a modern urban design, and those little touches that make a difference — we all love a chocolate on the pillow at turndown. But perhaps the real wow factor at the hotel is The Penthouse restaurant and lounge, where both locals and guests come up to the rooftop to watch the sunset over the Ocean. With signature cocktails (and happy hour too), and bar food like cured meats and tacos, this one is definitely worth a visit.

In the centre of Santa Monica just 2 blocks from the beach and a block from Third Street Promenade. Venice, Malibu, Hollywood and Beverly Hills are a short drive away.

Deluxe City View Rooms are located on floors 3-8, and have either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults. 

Premier Ocean View Rooms are located on floors 9-17, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Great location, staff and hotel facilities.Concierge very informative and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the penthouse restaurant was amazing with great views! Will definitely recommend and return!

I was looking forward to trying out this hotel when I had a totally wrong expectation about this hotel. I booked this hotel because I thought it would be a really nice high-end private boutique hotel, which is at the similar level of St. Regis, The Ritz, or the Four Seasons. Long story short - NO! This is just a garbage. More like a decorated version of Motel 6. I really wanted (and needed after stressful weeks of project) to spend a quiet enjoyable getaway but I spent close to $900 to get tortured here. There is no sound proof and common walls are tree-leave-thin in this hotel and you can hear all this from your own room. (later they said I had one of the most quiet rooms here, wow) - Moaning, grunting and screaming: Understandably, people have sex in hotels but in this hotel you hear it very clear. It's like you're sleeping just one foot away from a Live Sex Show. Yes, of course, you can hear the climax, too. - People cough and yes you can hear it loud and clear. - People talk on the phone and you can hear it loud and clear (if on speakerphone, you can hear both parties' conversation) - People pee and you can hear it loud and clear (a few seconds later you hear flush). - People snore and you can hear it loud and clear - People sometimes have diarrhea and you can hear it loud and clear - People sneeze and you can hear it loud and clear. - People have morning alarm at different times all morning around. You hear them ALL. Some of these come directly from the adjacent room, but some are from other rooms - literally you hear noises from all possible directions. When you complain, it's your fault because you're too sensitive, not because it's so poorly built. You have your own room but it's more like you're sharing it from strangers with paper-thin walls in between. It's pretty inside I admit it. But I should have known it's just a beautifully decorated garbage. I'd rather stay at a Motel 6 and save my money. Customer service for getting tortured like this? Zero. Yeah even the customer service is Motel 6 level - or I don't know. Motel 6 might have better customer service these days. Stay away from here - then you don't even need to complain. Oh, they followed up with me and asked me to let them know if I decide to return to this hotel so they ensure my stay is seamless. Seriously? WhyTF would I? For another round of "paid"torture? A great, well located hotel in the quieter end of Santa Monica. The staff were excellent and the rooms beautifully clean and well appointed. We enjoyed drinks in The Penthouse to experience the amazing views and lots of dinner options were close by. Highly recommend.

This is my 4th time staying at the Huntley. I will be returning again in a few months. I recommend it highly! The staff is genuinely attentive and the hotel is elegant with a fantastic location. Rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. I love it at the Huntley.
